I drew this up earlier today, based off of this post (http://www.starcraft2forum.org/forums/showpost.php?p=128266&postcount=33). I had been wondering if anything was left out, or had been changed in the time discrepancy between now and then(roughly 3 months).

Starport never upgraded, and neither did the Merc haven. Where the hell did that come from?

Whoops, the Shadow Ops was my mistake. It should have said Required.

The only two trees I've seen have both put the Starport as having an upgrade;

the one here (http://www.maxfreak.com/starcraft2/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/terran-tech-tree1.jpg), and the later one, in the original post(as of April). Where did you get the info that the starport hadn't upgraded?

And where did what come from? The tree? I drew it myself on CAD(needed a break from the assignments I had to do).

A) Starport never upgraded into the Star Beacon or whatever. It upgraded into a mobile starport named a Starbase.
B) This was announced to be scrapped a while back.

Did Blizzard say why they scrapped the Starbase?

Did Blizzard say why they scrapped the Starbase?

Yes. Long time ago. They said it didn't add much to gameplay and left Tech Labs scattered over the map.

I figure it'll be in the game editor.

Why not allow the port to upgrade only if it has a tech lab?

Why not add double add-ons?

Well, you could still have double add-ons in UMS...

Here's the techtree from SC-source. It's presumably up-to-date 'cause it has renders that were only released on saturday and the people who made it were at WWI.

Thank you.

The reaper wasn't always that far up the tree, was it? When did that happen?

Since they made it more useful?

I think in the course of balancing things, they found that you couldnt defend from a reaper rush, especially since you cant see up cliffs anymore (even while being attacked from a unit on a cliffs).
