Hello everyone, this version is a collective fixup of many bugs reported since the last release, but it also contains a small novel flavor to it with the new clipboard support. Enjoy

sexy update :)
"El Grando list of thangs..." Easter egg? O.o
Nice job, DatEdit is probably the most useful modding tool there is if you count out obvious core stuff like WinMPQ. Little updates like this keep it top-notch; this program is highly professional and fun to use ^_^
I've been wondering for a long while, would an Origin Sort for flingy.dat and images.dat be possible?
Flingy is as straightforward as unit.dat in this sense, images.dat is a little problematic considering that a single unit can use multiple images so maybe each unit could get its own node on the tree and have that node fill its corresponding base images, i.e. a non-editable "Zealot" node with "Zealot", "Zealot Shadow", "Zealot Death", and "Zealot Warp Flash" inside it.
The nonracial node "Other Units" would be replaced with "Other Speeds" or "Other Images" and have nodes for weapons, effects and such.
Also, a bug report: If you right click a non-editable node while in a tree sort, the "Quick Bookmarks" option will gray out and won't become enabled again until you close and re-open the program. It shouldn't gray out at all in this case, or at least become enabled again once you select an editable node.
Also, I've noticed that "0x80 (mine-safe)" from Units > Advanced isn't ever used, nor are the other properties in that section other than "0x1". Opening the same unit.dat file with Arsenal III does show a change in those values. What gives?

Heh...I was wondering if anyone could find out what exactly is this a reference to :P

Well, this is certainly possible, but the question is whether it is really functional? I mean, in images.dat you've got all the entries nicely placed next to each other, so grouping them would probably just cause confusion regarding the IDs. As for flingy, it *could* be done by backref'ing to the original units.dat/weapons.dat entries, but I still don't really see any big point to that. Oh, and I am not accepting feature requests anymore, the program's development is finished on my side, keep that in mind ;)

Both have been fixed now, please wait for a fixup version, and thanks for the report, especially about the "Advanced" tab flags (it was a result of serious internal data-handling error). The funny thing is that, from what I checked, this bug has been present ever since the original 1.5 release, and nobody noticed it before you.
I already noticed it in the past and asked about it but got no reply :x

From what I remember I gave you exactly the same answer like I just did. Finding out that it exists is just the first part, understanding what it refers to is the second. :)
