Just wondering.. Did he get mentioned in the Novels? because he was NOT mentioned in the game.

I think he was one of those heroes who were just supposed to be in the editor, and not in the campaign, or something like that.

He might also be related to the main character in Fahrenheit 451 who is called Guy Montag and he is a "firefighter" (burns books).

No, he definitely is. Also, he was a member of the Confederate Omega Squadron 28th, serving as a First Sergeant.
He was depicted as a concept sketch in the SC manual.
