I've been watching a lot of FFA games on youtube and I thought that it might be a fun idea for some of the SC warboards members together and have a nice little FFA with lots of hidden pylons at the end to prolong death. The time could be figured out later but I want to see how many members are interested.

I'll try. I think the map I'm using has that feature but I'll test it out. If somehow, the feature doesnt work, I'll save the replay. On second thought, the last players standing should save the replay.

Oh btw, the map we're using is (7)Seven Sins. Completely Assymetrical. Awesome for FFA. By Testbug. (My friend Jack might play if he has time. He usually plays when I play. He's really sarcastic.) The map has the obs thing but the side effect is that the game never really ends. We just have to all agree to the winner. Doesn't really. matter though.

Alright, so apparantly, Tuesday and Wednesday are the only days where everyone can play. Is there anyone who can't play from 4:00PM-6:30PM or 12:00AM-3:00AM on either of those days?

This is a problem. All the days have at least one vote on them. Sunday Monday and Thursday is definatly not going to be the day we play. If you can't play any other days, you'll either have to figure out a way to play or we'll have to randomly pick one day so one person won't be able to play.

I'd have to say that saturday feels by far the best date so far.
1. people can stay up longer
2. Most wont be out drinking unlike on friday night
3. universal vacation day, at least almost
4. I doubt anyone has anything big going on their life at that point
5. Has only 1 vote in it.

AND THUS, I'd say that saturday would be the best. and we dont have to play ffa only, we can play team games etc as well. Though, I wont be free this weekend. I'm leaving tonight in 6 hours

Meh. Im going to the mall with some girls to get my gf her birthday present but that should only take two hours. I thik our best bet is too post like a span of 5-6 hours thats the most general "night" time for most timezones and then everyone just gets on if they can or something.

Warboards clock is -7 GMT. In other words, when warboards clock is 11 AM, the FFA should start.

List so far. anyway, 2 hours till the ffa. Just to recap, the map contains 7 players and 1 observer and each player becomes an observer when they die. Completely Assymetrical. Each starting base has 1 natural and 1 (usually min-only) expansion (not [I hate the following word] necessarily equally defendable). There's 1 island with gas and u can't float a cc there. 22 expansions in total including the main bases. Glhf

3. Expo because you can't deny it.
4. Repeat steps 1 - 3 until you have enough expos to own everyone.

The point of different terrains? Playing on different fields on the same map. Graphical versatility.

Yes, in a matter of seconds you can change tilesets, but it won't look pretty ;).

Your Longinus snow map pissed me off cause you had the choke wrong and the backwards ramp on your snow Python didn't work like it should (i.e. my rines were on ramp near the top but every goon shot from below the ramp hit my rines which is impossible if the ramp is right).

playing vs ahzz is fun :D (or at least, watching him play :P) we should make no random start location, and give ahzz's location less minerals, less gas, and a trigger which prevents him from building anything past spawning pool in the first 3 mins. This would make the make balanced >_< (or we could da a Warboards UMS (4 players will do) since we are not 7-8)

they do 4 pool, but for it to happen it takes like, 32/256 or something. and it might be only against a specific race.

I somewhat remember a four pool script while studying the script as well as weird stuff like protoss fast expand and 4 or 6 gateway.

Here you go. :D Started a game just to see if it was possible, and sure enough, the comp 4 pooled me. It's really weird, I've never seen it before, and this was the very first game vs a zerg comp I played since reading the post about it here and it happened. Really weird.
