View Full Version : How do i rotate the wall flame throwers ?

I want to rotate the wall flamethrowers so they ca attack above them or below them more easily.

o and how do i make it so when leavers leave their units disappear ?
im trying to remove neutral players from a certain location but its not working :(

Regarding your 1st question on the thread (i.e., the flame-throwers bit), that cannot be done in mapping.

As for the leavers' units being removed, just use the P12 for the job (with a bring to anywhere condition). ;)

Give p12 a start location, then when you make the trigger, make sure that the player that the trigger falls under is NOT P12. Then do this:

P12 brings unit to 'location'
Remove unit at 'location' for P12

hmmm me didnt know about start location >.>
previously i just told it to remove neutal at certain locations and preserved it but didnt have start locations.... may be thats the problem

o and i've seen flamethrowers rotated on a map so i no its possible
me just dont no how :()

Why, what happens when you put triggers under player 12?

It never works. Or at least, not for me. :concern: I told Twitch this, and he told me to put it under all players, and it worked.

Flamethrowers are never rotated. There are left wall flame throwers, and right wall flamethrowers, and that's it. There are no graphic files for them being in any other direction.

Madragon, then it's probably better if you link us to the map in question since I've never seen that before. :o If we can see it most likely we'll find how it was done. ;)

I think i know what he means, in the map editor all the flame traps are facing left, even the mright wall flame traps. In the game though, the right walls are facing right and left facing left. That what you mean?

And are you the Ma-Dragon? ;)

As we asked, link us to it anyway and we'll see what we can do about it. Trigger Viewer, as the name implies, is an awesome helper in such cases. :)

Ah, so there is a way to look at triggers on protected maps! Good to know, I've got a few maps around here that are beyond intense, and I'd like to look at how they did things.

Just keep in mind that it doesn't show ya the exact location of the locations nor its actual size. ;)

I think I know what you mean, do you mean by the flame is firing UPWARDS as well as DOWNWARDS, LEFT, and RIGHT, madragon?
