Help With Unit Weapons

Is there any way possible to make it so you can change a unit's weapon upgrade for just a certain map rather than your entire data for the game. Such as, making a Hydralisk's attack upgrade when you upgrade the melee attack.

Only with a mod.

If you're doing it in DatEdit for a mod, and you're looking under the weapons tab at the weapon you want to change the upgrade for, then there's an upgrade box directly under the weapon damage that dictates what upgrade upgrades its damage.

Otherwise, no.

Yes, but unless I'm mistaken that changes it for every map doesn't it? Bah, oh well, thanks anyways.

That changes it for the game, unless you're using SCMLoader (Don't get any ideas, this is a modding tool too). But I don't know the specifics of that program.
