Quick Poll For The Upcoming Star Wars RP

Okay, so I thought Biohazard was gona do the Star Wars RP, but after waiting some time (months) I think maybe I could handle it? :P

I require a quick poll though, of the timeline. Before Episode 1? Episodes 2-3? Episodes 4-6?

KOTOR. Or even before that.

That's the only time period that can be as open as you like. During the actual movies, the timeline is locked in.

I voted pre-episode one, but that's not really what I mean;

Any roleplaying game like this should be set in an environment where the players' characters can become meaningful and not pointless extras - as such, any period where the timeline is not already locked in (between 3-4, after 6, before 1) is appropriate.

part of the Rebel Alliance or Galactic Empire.

o.o. I was thinking when the republic and jedi still p0wned, before episode 1, like Qui-Gon jin style. There could be missions for the jedi to help other planets. Butr stuff way before episode 1 would make no sense, for the people that watched all the movies and nothing else. (Like Myself)

Then perhaps you're not a suitable GM for a Star Wars RP? Perhaps your lack of knowledge will lead to another failed movie-era Star Wars RP? Perhaps it would be more worthwhile to pursue something you are actually capable of doing well?

If you're not familiar with Knights of the Old Republic, then you probably shouldn't be doing a Star Wars RP in all fairness. KotOR is probably one of the best written Star Wars games outside of the episodes. Also, there are so many ventures you could go with in that time period, from the rise of the sith behind Darth Malak to the Mandalorian Wars. The period of KotOR has so many different things that one could use to form the basis for an RP.

Pre Episode 1. I have about.. 7 of the Starwars RPG books so I am familiar with the limits and constraints in the Star Wars universe.
