View Full Version : Infested Stukov
So I've heared that Stukov is alive just like 2pac, so I wanted to know if there are videos of this Resurrection IV campagin. I've searched google and I've only reached discussions about him, not any actual videos. So if anyone can record some videos of him, then I'll appreciate it.
PS: Are there voices, such as dialogues, in this campaign?
It's a SC 64 map. Perhaps someone with that game could set up a recording of it one day?
Chances are really slim though :(

Its been remade into a SC map twice, actually. One thats just the same dialuge, another that is actually the same map, faithfully remapped.
Does the maps has the voice acting as well? or its just dialouge with no sounds?

The one I have, unfortunatly, only has dialogue. The other one probably only has dialogue too.

Indeed, neither of them has audio speech, only the text.

Would you like me to upload it?
I believe, actually, that SC 64 was rather lacking when it came to character audio. The units might have some words but, for the briefings at least, I remember reading that they were text only.
Yes, all unit dialogue, with the exception of unit clicks, is text-only. This due to the rather limited space on an N64 cartridge. And since blizzard didn't actually produce SC64 (they just gave consent to it) there weren't any voice actors around for a remake/release of the PC port.
I just played the map, and to be honest it, it looked like some noob was making it, and he just wanted to make Stukov alive again. Stukov was better off dead, this map just ruined him by resurrecting him. I wonder what his role will be in SC2...

I like Stukov. He's one of my favorite characters.

Indeed. Also, which version did you play? The one where the laser trap is archons, or where its wraiths? The Second one is actually based off of the real map.
I played both, and both of them are really bad(not the map itself but the story)...
I thought the map would be a map like when you had to kill stukov.

I'm going to have to kill you now.

Stukov being resurrected was the best thing since the invention of fire. If you deny that, you must die a slow and painful death.

Well I love stukov, but the way he was resurrected was pretty stupid, he should have been brought back in a different way, in a mature crystalis or something like that. I wonder what his role would be in SC2, probably rebuild the Psi Distrupter...
I have a problem here, I have 2 versions of Resurrection IV, one that starts with Protoss layout brief, and another one with Terran brief. Which one is the real one?
The protoss one has Raynor, Tarladin, Dragoon, Medic, It shows Stukov in the zerg place
The Terran one has Rayonr, 2 ghosts, medic, marine, but no sign for Tarladin and Stukov....
Also where is the dropship supposed to be?

Well he was dead, and was brought back to life by the zerg, and given that "zerg anti super revolutionary virus" thing that I forgot the name xD
But the point is-
1. Stukov is back uninfested, and with somewhat of a "debt" to raynor and the protoss.
2. There is a splinter remanant of the UED left :)
3. Guess what's going to happen!
And the one I remember was the one with the med, toss, and the other characters.
But who wants to speculate that they might make a pre-sc2 mission of Stukov's rescue :)

Actually, Stukov is very, very angry that he was revived, saying that "You have no idea what I have lost...", so... yeah. Not so much a debt. And Shai, upload them here and I'll show you the real one, ok? I think part of the problem may be you have two of the same map, but one is a singleplayer and the other is a multiplayer version.

And yet Stukov provided their escape? Angry person right? It was more of a dissapointment when he was freed.

He may have just been confused at the time. I imagine he still didn't want to die. Anyways, we'll see what happens regarding him in the campaign, shall we?
