So I was kinda interested in joining Mag's LotR diplomacy, but I don't have any firsthand experience and knowledge in playing Diplo.

So I opened this thread to help me discuss and understand playing Diplo'. So first off, how does one play Diplo?

The game itself, how is it played?

Okay. First go find the rules: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Diplomacy/Rules, or there's a pdf floating around somewhere.

Other than that... you just have to guess your way through the first couple games.

Aside from this, just choose a diplo thread that currently is active and follow how things go. Trust me, it's not that hard to get into - but tough to get good at.
