So I understand that xgmx's affiliate thread was moved to the Staff Forum (because it's shadow is unaccessible). But wouldn't it kinda offend xgmx to add HI I'M SPAM to its title, and allow its shadow to be publicly seen?

I guess if they were really serious about an affiliation request they would have done their homework and figured out who to contact specifically and taken it to them through a private medium.

Point acknowledged, but my other point is that whoever mod moved that thread, should at least have either left no trace (or shadow) of the moved thread (so that their comments about it in the title will be hidden also) or simply not have written that (HI I'M SPAM) in publicly viewable places.

IMHO, if I were in xgmx's shoes, I'd be kinda offended. Even though the site is still not sufficient to be an affiliate, it's still my effort and it took time and dedication to build something like that.

xgmx is a known spammer who rarely visits, but notoriously spams in the most ridiculous ways.

You should also be aware by now, FrankZ, that moderators and administrators are are a rather show-offy and witty bunch at times, so I wouldn't be surprised this happened.

Yeah, I agree. Sometimes they care more about having a laugh at someone than spare his feelings.

Anyway, I understand how it is. ;)

Most likely it was just a case of forgetting to tick the appropriate box. In either case, and having dealt with 'GM personally in the past, I can sure tell that he stubbornly tries to advertise his stuff here from time to time (instead of going through the appropriate means or simply contributing to WB's as a useful member). :P
