Sorry, we cannot help you if you downloaded Starcraft and BroodWar. We are not a torrenting site or offer support as such. We are a fansite, and most of us here have paid for the games we know and love dearly, and those who haven't keep it to themselves. Mentioning downloading any game illegally on these forums is considerd a bannable offense.

Bottom Line: We don't want trouble with Blizzard, so don't post anything about 1337 downloads.

Welcome to WarBoards.

Do you have Starcraft: Spawn or the actual game? You say you downloaded it, but I don't know if you actually got the game or not.

Starcraft: Spawn is a version of Starcraft made to allow players the ability to install the game on multiple computers for LAN parties or B.Net. Primarily a multiplayer version. You may want to try and get the full version of the game.

If I'm wrong about this, someone please correct me. :D

You will need to purchase the game for this, however. Which is all of, what, 20 dollars for the Starcraft: Battlechest? Really worth the money!

Okay well I installed everything. Not Spawn, just everything lol. Custom games work perfectly and I think multiplayer on b.net also works.. Just that campaigns for both regular starcraft and expansion don't do anything when i click on them :(

Gosh, just go to Walmart. Buy a Battle Chest.

Skip lunch. It isn't that hard. And as a reward you get something not illegal.

Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, doesn't it?

Couldn't agree with you more, deadkat. I've got a couple of friends who download movies all the time. When he told me he had Spider-Man 3 only two months after it left theaters (trying to rub it in my face because he knows I'm a HUGE Spider-Man fan), my reply was "I like to show my support for good entertainment by giving them some money for all their hard work."

It isn't that we aren't helping it you, it is that we can't. The only thing we can suggest doing is reinstalling. If that doesn't work then your CDs must be corrupt so contact Blizzard and try to swap them out.

He downloaded BW. Blizzard's gonna sue him if he contacts.

C'mon - $19.99 for Battle Chest and 10 years of great game play. Get legal and get real. Even Bioshock and Mass Effect don't keep me coming back like Starcraft, and they cost a heck of a lot more (even originally).

Yea, you can't beat $20 for Starcraft--best game of all time (in my book).

Err, just an FYI, Brood War can't be spawned :P

Sorry, we can't help you. Most likely where ever it was that you acquired SC/BW had bad copies, might have even kept the campaigns out of the download, so as to persuade you to go buy it for real if you wanted that aspect of the game.
