GTA IV comes out soon.. (360/PS3)

In a little over a week, a big release for Take-Two is coming. GTA IV is going to be big for a lot of reasons. It is the true sequel to GTA III, not just another GTA game.

My reasons for reserving the game:

-About 16 ONLINE game modes. "Cops and Crooks" "GTA RACE" "Team Deathmatch" ...

- Graphics + New engine make this game look just awesome.

- New gameplay, including drunk driving and cell phone conversations that dictate future situations in the game.

-Worth the money since I will play it a lot.

I remember when I first played gta 2 on Playstation...man was that fun.GTA 3 was kinda lame (lol m16 with 60 bullets and one hit kill o_O)Gta Vice city was nice,only some bugs with we couldnt finish the game (and should wait for a repaired version :S)GTA San Andreas was the real thing,many weapons BMX! basketball etc.The misions were kinda lame but we would give it a nice 8/10.
What do you expect from GTA 4?
I wanted it to be online (up to 15-20 players (not much but still(to play in the city LIVE))).Realistic car models (like the real ones),Bigger (MUCH BIGGER) city,and...to see the dude from Vice City...I cant remember his name.Tommy,was it?

So far Metacritic has it at a solid 100/100 based on 12 reviews. Thats crazy! Looks really good and worth it!

There was a huge line of over 200 people at the gamestop and eb games in this town at the midnight launch. And I got it!! Only thing is I can't play it until Friday since my PS3 is in my home city of St. Louis. I'm in my college town about an hour and a half south of St. Louis.

I'll post about it after Friday.

There have been reports that the 60gb version of PS3 is having a few freezing issues. This is apparently not happening to all 60gb systems, but its been a complaint on multiple forums.

The complaints apply to the 360 as well apparently.

I just bought this game and I love it. Except the cars aren't as fast as they are in the other GTA games.

It got a perfect 10.0 on GameSpot.

I played it, and it wasn't... 10 worthy. The only real diffrences I saw were changes that shoulda been diffrent from the very beggining. (Driving, for instance)

I'm sure if you try to appreciate the story and cut scenes more you'll start to get into the game. While gameplay is definitely important, story and other elements are important as well. I'll be playing it Friday, so I'm not sure yet.

well... i cannot play the game to its fullest because i fuked up my white rca(left audio) signal! yeah the signal... not the cables... im fukin angry... lol

and about the game... well... the multiplayer has glitches... and lets see if this game deserves a 10

i think that games could reach a perfect 10... because no game in history has been perfect, and i see the 10 score as nearly perfect, but no perfect

I've played the missions and drove around for a couple hours, and so far I like the game a lot. I think its sweet with the new physics and all. On the down side, it freezes when I try to go online.
