Well, its that time again. The time I have decided to buy a game.

My list of games goes as follows, from most wanted to least wanted. Just a note, although I will have several people saying to JUST BUY THE ORANGE BOX, I want your input on all the games. I am not quite in the mood for just another shooter.

1. Sins of a Solar Empire-Played it at a friends house. LOVED IT.
2. Burnout Paradise-Never played a burnout game, but it looks really fun and I enjoy street racing games.
3. Dark Sector-Despite some so-so reviews, it looks somewhat fun.
4. Orange Box-Has been on my list for a while, but don't REALLY want it.
5. Viking: Battle for Asgard-Last resort

Any other suggestions for the 360?

I would prefer not to get any PC games because my graphics card had to be replaced and it is now a crappy Geforce 5400 or something like that. I think it can handle SOASE, but nothing more.

1. Sins is worth the 50$. Amazing game.
2. Burnout becomes really not-fun after a few days.
3. You should probablly hold on buying Dark Sector, maybe rent it before buying it?
4. Meh.
5. Don't.

I don't know much about 360 games, so I'll comment on Sins of a Solar Empire - I've heard good things. Probably the best RTS for PC that will come out in a while, and they are actively patching things to balance the game and add new content. A good buy, IMO.

Yeah, when I played it, SOE was amazing. It seems like I am leaning towards it. However, a couple of my friends may be getting Burnout, which should increase the replayability. I will have to see. Any other suggestions?

Get GTAIV at the end of the month. The online modes sound awesome.

1. Never played it, but have heard many good things about it. I might get it, myself. :P
2. I LOVE THIS GAME. It's so fun to crash into a wall at a zillion freakin' MPH and watch your car crumble to a little tiny heap of boxed metal, with scraps and metal flying every which way. :P It is rather annoying at times, with the no restarting races and making you drive EVERYWHERE and having no set courses is really a pain when you keep looking at the minimap while racing. It'd also help if you could play it online, seeing as there is no offline mode. (Offline multiplayer, that is)
3. Getting it from Gamefly eventually; sounds like just a rent to me.
4. I love Portal, it makes the Orange Box worth it for just that; the other games are just a bonus.
5. Bleh. Rent it.

If you can, and if you don't already have it, GET DAWN OF WAR. It owns.
