View Full Version : ADV Loader Launch Starcraft issue

Whenever I open up ADV Loader 2.1 and click on the "Launch Starcraft" button my screen goes black for a few seconds, and then I get an error message in a small box in the middle of my screen. "RT Error" is all that it says. After I close this box another one pops up saying "AppliedPatchSuspended faild"

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I wantzorz teh LAN latency

adv loader wont give you lan latency. where did you think that? You need chaos launcher for that one. both players must run chaos launcher, and in addition, you must make a game name like -name-#LL or -name-#L1 or -name-#L2 or something to make it work

Sorry, I want ADV Loader with chaos launcher so I can use them both at the same time. The problem with ADV not launching isn't when I join/host a game, it's when starcraft itself actually starts that I'm getting error messages. :(

In that case I doubt its possible. I'm not very familiar with chaoslauncher, there may have been a feature where you can sort of add your own plugins to the list, but I sort of doubt that. There's a chance that MasterofChaos will add it over himself, but some consider ADVLoader as a cheat program, perhaps even a hack and the chances are sort of nil. Except if the program itself is modified.

I'm assuming that means that they work together/are included in the download, but I might be reading it wrong :S

Why do some people consider ADV a hack? What does it do?

it shows opponent apm at all time which might affect the early game, not sure but might show opponent resources if you click his units.

APM doesn't really matter because it doesn't actually give away any strategical info, but if it shows unit count of your opponent then that is definitely not fair and should be considered a hack.
