PS3 games..

I got a PS3 a couple weeks ago. I only play it on the weekends because of school.
I have Call of Duty 4, rented Devil May Cry 4 and NHL 08. Was going to see if anyone else had a PS3 and knew some good games. I played the Folklore demo. I might buy that game when it goes down in price.

Dynasty Warriors 6 was good. Ratchet and Clank is quirky fun; Heavenly Sword, Resistance: Fall of Man, Turok.

Lots of good stuff; just depends on what you prefer in a game.

The ones I would suggest buying because I myself have them are,Time Crisis 4,Time Shift,And Guitar hero 3.
All of those great games for the PS3 I do have to ask though,do you have a HDTV?If not you won't get the best out of it :(.I always feel sorry for people who don't get the best out of their system.

Folklore is a brilliant game although it can get a bit boring. Really, just head on down to your local Game store and have a look around for some interesting looking games.

I played the Jericho demo and liked it a lot. I got to the end and wanted to play more, which is a lot more than I can say about Folklore or some other games.

I liked the Jericho demo as well; played like a demonic resident evil.

The falling mini game was intense.

and for games, get gTA 4

Its starting to get some awesome games. They may not all be exclusive, but it is still a damn good line-up. Metal Gear Solid 4, GT5 prologue, and GTAIV will all the out this summer. So I don't think PS3 owners will complain anymore.

The PSN has some awesome games too. Super StarDust HD is my personal favorite. It plays like Galaxy Wars except on planets with asteroids and cool abilities.

I'm gonna buy GTA IV for sure. I will only own 2 games, but Call of Duty 4 and GTA IV will be all that I need. I might buy NHL 08, not sure though.

I liked Assassin's creed....for the first hour of gameplay. Story was good, but it got very repetitive.

And I picked up Army of Two today and it's awesome. Takes a bit of learning to use your partner right, but past that, it's an intriguing story, what little I've done.

And question: How many people that come to these forums have a PSN account? I sincerely doubt that number is high enough to warrant a sticky for it like the Xbox live thread.

It all just depends on what you like. MGS4, FFXIII, GT5, and LittleBigPlanet; these are all going to be really good games, but if you don't like those kind of games then it's almost useless to own a PS3.

i'm sure I will love final fantasy as I have loved all the others, and MGS4 looks like a solid game (no pun intended) but they are not out and my ps3 is all but useless, oh well i like blueray on my HD TV :D

Guitar Hero is a good franchise (although it is multiplatform), personnaly i only own CoD4 im waiting for something to catch my eye nothing yet :S
