On the members lounge I can see deleted threads. Now as neither a mod nor an admin, should I be seeing this. What is the point of deleting something if I can see it?:P
I can also see if a thread has any deleted posts in it.

Do you see the thread that was deleted or somehting saying that it was deleted?

That's normal. Same with the post part (though posts list the reason why it was deleted usually)

Generally there aren't enough deleted threads to really matter. I think the most I've ever seen is 3 on one page.

It's so you can see the thread if it was yours, so you know what happened to it.
And also a form of transparent government, so that things aren't just happening in secret.

The only part of being an admin or mod is so you know the secrets that the members dont.

Fail.

Being an admin or mod means being able to flaunt that knowledge ;p

Go back to school ;p

This is one feature that I love on WB. I can't stand being on a forum and then coming back the next day to see whole threads or posts missing with no indication as to why. It's impossible for members to tell if threads have been moved to other forums or deleted, and if they were deleted, why. Leaving the thread shadows allows other members to see why a deleted thread violated the rules, so that they can correc their own posting behavior too.

(Also exercising my right as staff to post in locked threads :P)
