Design My Wedding Invitations!! :D

Alrighty so the majority of you know that I am getting married....And Stephen and I are going to register the domain:

With that we want to design a website to promote our wedding. I know I told Black Hawk many moons ago that I want him to design my wedding invitations, but he is kinda afk or something...I haven't seen him, lolz--So I figured I would tap into the creative juices of ya'llz and see what comes out!

We are having two weddings because his family is in North Carolina and a lot of his friends can't afford to fly out to Cali.

As for the format and everything--Yes, count it as your wedding gift, lolz :D

Stephen and I aren't gonna have a traditional orthadox wedding, we wanted to do an invitation on a website, where you can print it out--Is that cheap and not proper ettiquite? lolz :P Hey, it'll save lotsa money :D

Alrighty so it's going to be a medieval/renessiance wedding.

Stephen was telling me he'd like icons on the website in the form of a ring....Hmmmm, Let me draw it out.

*PC busts out her mad Paint skills :D*

In each part of the ring, when the mouse hovers over it, he wants that section to pop out with a picture or whatever and then the title.

Like I was saying earlier, Wedding party, location, About the bride, About the groom, etc etc :]

We don't want something that is orthadox and normal--We wanna think "outside the box" and have stuff no one else has. Ppl always have doves and butterflies and lily's and whatever--Comon now that's too simple and plain for us.

I've tried talking about colors to Stephen but he can't seem to agree with me about colors. I suggested purple/lavender with while or something. He's like, "Purple? That's too gurly." And I'm like, "Babe!! That's BOTH our favorite colors! We can make this work. We can use purple in a way where it won't look feminine."

Honestly I'm really open to ANY ideas any of you would have. I want ppl to remember our wedding as something they've never seen and will never forget Something that will stand out in their minds and they'll look back and be like, "That rocked." :D

And I will have each and every one of you guys to thank :D I'll be sure to say a special thanks to everyone who helped out in my wedding video, lolz :P And you guys will get to watch it! :D

Ya know, Stephen's dad suggested that we web cast our video since we both have so many friends on-line. I started laughing and I go, "Hey! That would be something we could do!" :D

Alrighty so I'd like to have a sort of Medieval banner on the top with some sort of cool "You have been cordially invited to attend the wedding [whatever fancy words ya wanna use] of Sir Stephen & Lady Grace" Something along those lines :P

Now here's the catchy thing with me...Anybody good on Wedding ettiquite? You see, Stephen has his mom and dad Ron and Brenda--While I have FOUR parents. My mom Nona, my step-dad Angel, my dad Eduardo, and my step-mom Saundra. You know how they do on the announcements, "Ron & Brenda Worrell & Nona Dominguez & Eduardo Almada invite you to the wedding of 'blah blah blah'"

Well umm--How would you word it with me? I've NEVER seen a wedding invitation where the ppl getting married have step-parents. All four of my parents have been involved in my life equally and I don't want to leave them out.

I like the colors in Purple Rain, yet that creme color in Purple Wants to Talk grabbed my attention on that scheme. What do ya'llz think?

Not to butt in, again (zomg sorry), but why not try a white background? like a purple-fade-to-light color instead of the dark?

The wedding is a celebration, happy, etc... not something dark and stuff ><!

Nah, all I have to do is, set the ring spinning, press the render button and wait for the render to finish. You, on the other hand, would need to work on every JPEG frame there is :P , unless you can make the spinning ring out of an animated GIF and then it's pretty much an equal share of the workload.

Btw, in what format should I send them in? GIF or JPGs?

Because a lotta ppl that both of us know live in tiny dinky little towns where all there is to shop from is Wal-Mart. My best friend for instance. Darlene lives in Laruel, Mississippi. And the ONLY place to shop is Wal-Mart! Yeah the knights looks evil [I actually think it's cool....But maybe a little less evil? :P] but I get what you are trying to do. I like how you colored the Fleur-de-lis on the bottom and everything...It ROCKS! :D

Uhm... instead of using pictures from heroes of might and magic and stuff, why not try to incorporate something from Medieval Times (http://www.medievaltimes.com/index2.htm)?

That is where she's having a reception after all right? Or at the least, try to pull up a generic knight, or something like that.

Why not try for a background with a castle, and on a side have a tall tower. Haha, and you could stick a picture of Gracie in the window, with a picture of her fiance coming to her rescue or something (ok complicated I know :p)

Just wanted to post a little update. So the most terrible thing happened. I had saved the psd. file and somehow it was converted into a png... so...ya...I cant adjust anything on the orginal image T.T. All I was able to do was make some adjustments to the original image. Heres what I have now.

I am SO sorry for the white outline on the ring. >.< I tried everything. I tried to use the "screen" filter, erase them manually, etc. Blah, sorry again. =(
