does anybody know where (or if) i can find the japanese version of starcraft? (besides japan)

Why would you want a japanese version? StarCraft I didn't think came in different languages. But if you reinstall you might get to select a language, I'm not sure.

nah, the base language is english, yes, but there are people who get it on their own language. such as german, and a few other european languages as well (and korean) but i dont know about japan.

perhaps originally, but nowadays there definately are versions on different languages, such as german, korean, japan I think since deadkat said so, polish too I think. prolly several more

There's no difference, so why would you need it. Just install it with that language.
