Well as you know (Maybe, probably not) my birthday was on the 28th  and now my dad promised to buy a game for meh, anything.
I was hoping to get an opinion from you guys on what game i should maybe get.
Im Considering: Crysis, Microsoft Flight Simulator Deluxe. (Notice that they're all 50 bucks :P)
For an idea on what kinda games i like, i have the following:
Starcraft (DuH), Roller coaster Tycoon 1,2,3, Sims deluxe, vacation, superstar, and Jetfighter V. (These are only some, it would flood the db if i posted all of them :P.)
So can u help me? I need some game ideas in which to buy!!!
Thx

I've played Flight Simulator. I was disappointed, because when you crashed the planes didn't explode. :D Played Crysis a little at a computer store, pretty fun. If I were you, I'd get Jade Empire: Special Edition. SOOO FUN. :D

I suggest the Orange Box or Unreal Tournament III, but considering you're twelve, your dad probably won't get them for you (They're both rated M and are quite a bit bloodier than Crysis).
You're kind of limited, it seems. I know you're looking to get Crysis, but that's a long way out from Roller Coaster Tycoon. A long way out. Crysis is death and destruction, RCT is...Roller Coasters. Whoopee. Not to say that's bad, I know some people like that sort of thing, but a lot of other games are a lot more entertaining.
Good luck with your search. I suggest posting your system specs so that other people will be able to help you. We don't have much to work with.

If you think Crysis is a Role-Playing game, you've got the wrong hobby, buddy. Crysis is like a beefier, more-realistic version of Halo 3. Good luck convincing your parents to get you that one.
Also, laptops suck at gaming on the whole, and this isn't hardware related (or maybe it is -- I'm pretty sure it's the screen-mobo refresh rate). Granted, 2 GB of RAM isn't that bad, but posting that and a hard drive size doesn't really help us much.

Well, my friend go Crysis and it is SWEET. I've tried numerous games on my laptop, and they work like a charm. I'd still maybe like crysis, but rp, too.

I'm going to assume "rp" means role-playing games. If you could clarify that, that would be great.
Also, I suggest getting some older games for 10-20 bucks each. Should fill up $50 in three games, if you're smart about it. Just a suggestion. If your heart is set on Crysis, go for it. Be advised that it won't be played in its full glory on any systems, least of all on a laptop.

tycoon or role playing games tat r good?
No, in my opinion. Call me a violent recluse, but I find the gameplay of many modern and not-so-modern (read: Freespace 1/ST/2, Half-Life 1, Descent, Quake, UT) shooters to be very engaging and relaxing. Depends on who you ask, really.
I could survive a day with just the Sims, but beyond that, it's just a room with an oven and a pretty paint job. Fun, fun, fun.
Ick. Life Simulators and (insert noun here) Tycoons 1-7 aren't any fun after a day or two.
tat r good? To speak for most of the active members members on WarBoards:
I would probably hit you with a heavy object if you said that in real life. Nobody but a small few hard-core rednecks would ever say "tat r good". Fix it, please. "tat" and "r" replacing "that" and "are" is not in any way proper grammar.
Yes, I know you're twelve, but your writing level is below that at this point.
Not intended to flame, but to fix. And I hope it does fix indeed.

Arr, it be role plays you lookin' for? Well, I mentioned one above in my earlier post *COUGH*Jade Empire*COUGH* and if you like Star Wars, get KOTOR. That is an RP too. BTW, maybe post your laptop's graphics card? That would probably help...I myself have Starcraft, Warcraft, and DoW Dark Crusade. (Hey, I just got a computer that can play games, I'm working on buying stuff. >_> Not rich either....) I played Jade Empire on the Xbox and it was SO fun. The special edition ought to be great (trying to buy that right now, but Amazon must hate me). Or, you can wait for Mass Effect which comes out in May for the PC...but I'm not sure if a laptop could run that. And you might already have it for 360 (PS3 FTW). Well, thats my two cents.

Your graphics card is the deciding factor in many of these games, because no amount of hard drive space or RAM will make Crysis run smoothly at any level of quality without a decent graphics card.

Or decent graphics cards, depending on if you have SLI or not.
Polka', you probably don't, considering you've got a laptop -- cooling two graphics cards at once on a laptop is guaranteed hell. Depending on the year you got it and the make/quality, you've probably got a 7000 or 8000 series NVidia, some recent ATI card, or an on-board chipset.
Let's see some specs.
