I just recently downloaded the StarFire Editor in the hopes that I would be able to do more with map editing.

After downloading it, I received the folder on my desktop which contained two things:
1. Starfire Edit.app
2. A folder labeled "_MACOSX"

In the folder is another "Starfire Edit.app"

I clicked the first .app file (the one with a cool icon) and it popped up on my dock (just as normal) and then disappeared immediately, not bothering to open itself like I so kindly asked it to.

My question is:
Is there a special way I have to install this editor to use it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

What kind of Mac are you using, PPC or Intel? What about your version of OS X?

I've got a 722 MHz Power PC G4 (yea, it's old, but it was free :P).
The version is 10.4.11

Can it run normal staredit or do you not have classic? If you don't have classic that's why.
