Considering the quantity of "Fuck you!"-type hidden messages contained on these forums, I doubt it, but it would be good to reduce the amount of profanities around here. :)

If it was something we would usually infract someone for, then we'd probably infract it, yes. Depending on how the mod is feeling, they may be a little more vindictive based on it being an attempt to cheat the system, so to speak, but that's really dependant on too many factors.

However, I doubt it would make it more acceptable if it had been made hidden. I'd surmise if it had any effect, it would be the opposite to that.

I'd say yes. Color doesn't matter. Ever. Unless it's a box of crayons. If you say "Fuck You" to someone in hidden colors, that's just as bad, if not worse than saying it to them in the post.

As a general rule of thumb, hidden color text should be saved for comedic asides and spoilers. If it's in an invisible color and it's probably offensive to someone (or even without an invisible color), consider not posting at all.

I'd say that it mostly it depends of the rest content you used. If it would be in a clear jesting manner it probably wouldn't get one. Note that said that it depends on the content and not exactly from the whatever colour you used. ;)

No! Haven't you read the Warboards Constitution? There are bright-line rules governing these forums and strict checks and balances to make sure that their enforcement is applied equitably and consistently. Come back when you have read it.

I think this is a great example of what not to do, also and heed my warning at the end

so what if I give a purely invisible message saying

"Granted it works... but then in a cataclysmic turn of events aliens invade and you are forced to destroy them with the uttorent. Then just as you are about to use it you're all like "dude what the hell is an utorrent?" and then you find out and then an alien comes and shoots you with the cerebral bore from turok three. It starts to suck out your brain fluids but then just as it about to explode chuck norris roundhouse kicks it off your head thus saving you (sadly) but then an alien graps a plasma shocker and kills chuck norris with it. Chuck norris' body explodes and then you find out that hes a frieken robot. Back at the hide out you eat some food... it really good food your favorite even. but what you dont know is that someone slipped you some ex in it and now you are trippier than kieth richards and really frieken lohaned. But then aliens posing as drug agents posing as purple armadillos posing as pink orangutangs posing as purple iguanadons posing as blue t-rexes posing as fucia hippoes posing as teal zerglings posing as cyan rhinoes posing as puce elphants break through your weak door thats only a level thirteen. and the your like "what the hell is puce?" so then you look at the aliens posing as drug agents posing as purple armadillos posing as pink orangutangs posing as purple iguanadons posing as blue t-rexes posing as fucia hippoes posing as teal zerglings posing as cyan rhinoes posing as puce elphants and then you're like "oh... so thats what puce looks like!". Then in a sparatic event of wittyness you pick up the taling turtle that if you rub his back three times purple genies come out holding bongs and smoking huge blocks of reefer saying "okay maaaan ifffff-iiiiiiffff you *takes a huge hit* *cough*promise to buy me twinkies *cough* I- I wiiillllll grannnnntt you three wishes *takes another hit* *cough* but who the hell keeps count? *cough*" and throw it at the aliens posing as drug agents posing as purple armadillos posing as pink orangutangs posing as purple iguanadons posing as blue t-rexes posing as fucia hippoes posing as teal zerglings posing as cyan rhinoes posing as puce elphants and it does nothing! For instance I would get in trouble for that, basically if you think it might not be worthy to post don't post it... it is always better to err on the side of caution
