A former Quake 3 Mod called Bid for Power has gone Standalone. The game is in no longer in legal issues, and features Real DBZ/GT characters.
The project is located at MODDB Database. Here

The game has newly patched to become AF specials and features Cell Shaded Graphics! Though I have old V1 Final, and I am not going to patch it either, it's good and enjoyable.
Ki System
It's good, it has power level that determines the number of attacks availale, most of the characters transform at the 1 Mil power. While some characters transformation can be controlled. Example Vegeta GT goes SSJ automartically, but Transforming into SSJ4 or not is your choice, Transformation often chanegs characters attacks. Like Vegeta going Oozaroo will have Rapid Inferno and Super Ki Beams.
Aura and Flying.
You can fly! And you can move at Blazing fast speed! Press ALT or E and Zap On! Turning on Aura drains your Ki, but it gives you gretat speed and a slight plus on Melees.
Controllable Ki-Beams
Most of the attacks which were steerable in DBZ are also steerable in BFP. I was able to turn my Kamehameha by about 45% to hit my opponent.
Over all, A Worth Download.
