does any one know how to make the computer upgrade at a certain point of the game? combined with triggers or a modified ai script? i forgot which ai script upgrades weapons and armors. it's like this: at 5 minutes in the game i want my opponent computer upgrade to level 1 weapons, then level 2 at 10 minutes, level 3 at 15 minutes like this. im pretty confused. :o

its basically like make the computer upgrade its units every 5 minutes. anybody knows how?

I haven't got a clue but that may have just sloved a problem in my map if someone does know how to do that.

I like to call it SCAIEdit. There's no script in a map to force the computer to upgrade, it upgrades based on the AI scripts its running, which are starcraft defaults, and thus capped to 3.

could you please show me the script if possible?

Did you actually read what I typed? First off, you're not even describing the circumstances that you need this to happen in, e.g. a mod or map. SCAIEdit is a modding tool.

You cannot force the computer to upgrade at an exact time. Maybe it could be possible to carefully look over its AIscript, identify exactly when it goes to upgrade, and then starve it of resources until the necesarry point, but this would be time-consuming and probably wouldn't even work, as the AI would move onto other routines. (Don't ask me about it, because I've never tried it myself and wouldn't know.)

i was thinking making it possible with the trigger run ai script.

Yes for god's sake, if you made a mod and imported a custom AI script you could tell the damn trigger to run it.

Basically, there is no trigger you can use in a map to make up upgrade.

If you write your own full ai script and run it in a mod, THEN you can make it upgrade, but until then, no. Case closed.

Durandal: cool off.
migidu: Pay better attention. It was REALLY obvious what he was trying to say.
