So, I went to Obama's rally in Bangor last weekend. I thought it was quite interesting, and if i was old enough to vote  that I probably would vote for him. However, I was trying to figure out how much of the favorable impression I got from him was him, how much was the rally, and how much was what he says that he will do. I was just wondering what you people thought about the value, for a candidate with a good chance of nomination, of a rally as opposed to a question/answer-type debate.

Rallies are useless, IMO. They're just there to whore fanboyism, and anyone who doesn't already support the candidate will avoid the noise.

Personally, I think the best source of spreading/exploiting political influence is the internet. :D
