I dunno if this thread has been made yet--But has anybody thought up an idea of having a WB guild or something? Or are we all just coming together when we want to and gaming together?

It's been attempted at least once before. The idea flopped.

The problem is every need to transfer to another realm, witch is US$25, or start a new toon on a different server, speaking for myself, I have a Mage, a Hunter and a Warrior and have to admit I have really lost my patience with leveling toons recently, maybe I need a decent break from it.

I'm new to it, so I'm down for starting a new toon :]
My blood elf is barely level 5.
I guess we'd have to agree on one server.

I'm up for at least making an alt on a unified server. We should probably agree on faction and server type, first, though.

Arthas is the motherfucking BOMB, and if you disagree you're a liar and a fraud.
It is awesome, and also sweet.
So yeah, I'm loaded and have a great guild for people who want an interim.
And by the way, muradin, I don't really think anybody expects you to be active since, you know, nobody knows who the fuck you are and all that.

That's kind of the problem, though - everyone wants people to roll on 'their server'. 's why I'd recommend we all reroll alts on some server none of us have been on, that way we can actually level together.

's why I'd recommend we all reroll alts on some server none of us have been on, that way we can actually level together. The other problem I see is what people want to do. I.e. I like raiding (fairly hardcore) but it's clear that GA prefers PvP. Others may just casually want to run dungeons or Kara. The problem I see is that if we wanted to keep it WB only, we probably could only do casual stuff or pvp, whereas if we opened it up, it wouldn't be a WB guild but we could raid hardcore.
It's just not meant to be. :P

I'd love to raid, but I'm never really able to play during times that 'raiding' happens, as I'm usually unable to log on until 9PM PST/12:00AM EST.

I'm down with raiding too, it's just really hard to do with dumbasses. And when people are fucking nutso about being there every day 6PM to 2:00AM.To be fair, most raiding guilds take a MUCH more lax attitude about that kind of thing. If you're into being top 100 in the world, then yes, you'll be raiding daily 6-2:00. However, for example my guild has raids Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 8 PM to 12 AM. While attendance is considered mandatory, that's more of an encouragement than an actual requirement. We have some people who raid 2 nights a week while others will be there all 4.
The key is to finding a good group of players who understands that not everybody can dedicate their entire life to the game.
Dumbasses do suck, that's how my old guild was. My new one is a group of people that actually do very well, though we sometimes have our lapses.

I love new dungeons but raiding them to the point of "farm status" bores the hell out of me. I don't know if you're the same way, but at the point I'm at right now, the only reason I log on anymore is to get my tier 6 shit on Fridays.

OK, why dont we just all make an alt on a serrver noone has any toons on, start the guild and go from there.
Well we need a min number of peeps, then do we want a PvP/PvE/RP

Raiding sounds like fun :D
I have A LOT of time right now since I am unemployed >.<Raiding can be fun when you're part of the "A-team" that gets to go to progression nights and see the new content die with your guild as it dies. I can't tell you how sick I am of seeing the inside of T5 content, and how much I just want to start being there for the T6 content. I say can be, because wiping on new content isn't the best thing in the world either, since often you see some of the same people making the same mistakes, or you see certain strategy issues that need to be addressed, and you can't do much about it. (That said, I'll take a raid over PvP ANY day, simply because I love the feeling I get when a new boss dies after a night of work and everyone gets that feeling that they've really accomplished something together.)
On the converse side, if you were to, say, join a guild that has all of the T5 content on farm, and you go with them to a T5 raid, that takes all the lustre and gleam away from events that should be otherwise exciting, just because it's so "normal" for those people.

I don't know what you and kong are fucking talking about, but I'll say this. I want awesome gear, and I do not give a monkey shit about having to farm so-and-so and whether or not I got picked last for gym class. My question is, "is there badass motherfucking gear to be had?" Check "yes" or "no". If you even think about checking "no" then PST me, I swear I will kick you in the balls.
Working together and all the bullshit means nothing to me, and I could really give a shit less about whether or not I'm the first guild to do it, the super A team guild, or whether the boss died. He can just give me the shit and have me on my way and I'd be just as happy.

If a warboards guild was going to happen, now is a good time to do it, as a new expansion is coming out out soon, it would be a good time for people to position themselves to play where they would like. It doesn't take that long to level a toon for most of us these days.
I will roll a toon and play, pick a realm!

Why should we roll on your realm, will you urself make a new toon; prolly not.
Why cant we roll on my realm, then i can ride around and blow my horn about how "godly" my char is.
I say we roll on "Warsong PvP Medium Pop" i think its a US one.
Does anyone other then genocide have a problem with this realm?

Arthas is a little crowded, but I think GA's guild name is cute.
rofl cute.
Why not take some time ot think this through?
Pick some realms (do we want a high pop, or low pop?) no one currently plays on, decide on a faction, and then plan out to start new toons when WotLK comes out?
Give everyone an equal starting point, and would allow you to keep your "HARDCORE OMFG" gaming seperate from, what I'm sure will be, much more lax wb guild.
Or, just to be completely nuts, why not have a leader on different servers (for example, GA would lead a guild on Arthas geared towards PVP) and maybe AJ could lend the guilds a subforum, that way people could see "Oh cool, WB has a guild on Arthas, Silvermoon, and Kael's Ass realm" or whatever the hell. And each one could be geared towards, like, pvp, or pve, or just one for either/or but more there just for chatting, help with quests, etc... (ie, more lax I guess).
pfft i dunno.
that or seriously just pick a realm, people on it or not, and make a guild. Although, ideally, whatever realm you do pick would either have the most current wb members on it, or is a brand new realm we could all start over on.
Though I understand starting over/new toons for some isn't something that you might look forward to, since some of you have devoted quite a bit to your higher leveled stuff, compared to those of who've never seen 40, 50, or 60.
Pfft. Would be fun though.

how about we just get some numbers and roll on arthas, thats prolly the only way this is going to happen.

Twelve out of a possible 168 hours. Which is a 1:14 ratio. Sounds like a fine ration to me, considering we're on a gaming forum where people might spend their entire awake day playing Starcraft or whatever on the weekend.

For a WoW player thats very normal.
Come to think of it, 12 hours play/practice of any game or sport doesnt seem like a that much in a week.

I neither have much skill at nor enjoy endgame pvp very much. Unless you consider chain-running the same 5-mans for iLvl 115 blues a worthwhile use of your $15 a month, I don't think 12 hrs a week is much to ask. I know I don't.

How did that warlock song go? I get depressed when I type slash played?
Ha ha. I wouldn't mind raiding for my Rogue, but IDK if I'd want to raid for the lock. Arena lock gear looks beast and it's better for lock PvP anyway. Rogue stuff would probably have some stam str agi on it, which would be good for my boy. Plus looking like Illidan would be badass.
OK, im going to roll a toon on Arthas, dunno what ill be but something.

Guild Costs:
10 silver: Guild Charter (required indefinatly)
10 gold: Tabbard Design (optional, though I would say required)
1 gold: Guild Tabbard (optional, though I would say required)
100 gold: Guild Bank First Tab (optional, though I would say required)
250 gold: Second Tab (optional)
500 gold: Third Tab (optional)
..and the Bank Tab prices increase as you continue.
Just noticed people were jumbling prices, wanted to clear that up.
