Favorite Game type (FPS, Strategy, etc.)

Just wondering what type of games you like, feel free to be truthful if you don't like RTS games the best (I don't, but they're fun;))

there IS no VERY favourite genre for me :P...although i do like adventure a tad over RTS /simulation but there haven't been good adventure games out for a VERY long while

I like RTS's the absolute most, but TBS and Adventure are high on the list also.

Since I'm playing StarCraft RTS is my favourite game type.

RPG´s have really got my attention.
Ever since I tried the first Diablo I was stuck.

And after that of course, I tried Baldurs Gate.

And that was even more addictive than Diablo
or any other RPG that tried.

Except for Fallout 2 then, which Is just
as fun as BG.

Neverwinter was fun too, but It was a little to short.

I do RPG, RTS and FPS mainly.

The one type of game I probably play most is RPG, but I was once addicted to FPS and managed to play CS for pretty much two days straight (1-2 hour naps here and there). As for RTS, I still love playing AoE2 ^_^.

I love FPS, and by far the game type Im best at. (UT, UT2k4, Perfect dark, Goldeneye...) Mindless killing never boars me ^^ I also like RTS but I am not the best at them.

My favorite is First Person Shooter. Then comes Real Time Strategy only because of Starcraft. Then comes fighting because of Mortal Kombat, the series.

My favorites are Strategy and RPG's, turn-based ones especially. I've tried Warcraft and Starcraft, but they're not really for me. Turn-based me likes.

Ah.... Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.... sheer brilliance....

Favourite for me is RPG though, very closely followed by turn based strategies (there need to be more good ones, though) and FPS. The HoMM series were the only turn based games that I got hooked into, far more addictive than Wc3 or Sc have ever been.

Where is the Sports? No one around here likes sports games (except "racing sim"). Sigh, I guess I vote simulation, it's the closest to Sports.

UT2K4 is really just an expansion to 2K3 imo

but my favs are RTS, RPG(morrowind particularly), FPS (HALO), and turn based empire buildy type games.

and yeh, like CIV

but they are not really TBS games as the focus is more on the keeping it (your empire) running than the actual combat

ahh well EBS games (empire building strategy) will do for now
