Hello ladies and gents,
For the past few weeks, I have been looking into the world of computer-generated music, notably, some of the stuff on OverClocked Remix (Ocarina of Time, to be specific). Even more recently, I have been looking into the area of Software Synthesizers, eliminating the trouble of learning the Piano and shelling out a wad of cash for a real Synthesizer.
I am now looking for a free, easy to learn software synthesizer that does not sound like a MIDI composer. To listen to a sample of what I'm hoping to eventually get to, listen to this. (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01153/)
I have already tried a few, mainly CSound and Frinika on SourceForge, but they need real Synthesizers or output music like MIDIs. Thanks to all of you for your help!
