So I donno if this is in the correct section but I wasn't sure where else to ask. I'm stationed in NC and my lil brother lives in CO and we want to play my SC mod together, but whenever either of us makes a game, the other gets an error trying to join it about the latency being too high. When we are playing with lots of friends we are able to find a friend who is midway between us to make the game and then we can all play together fine with very few lag problems. Is there any way for me to directly connect to his computer or is there some other server besides b.net where we can play?
The issue is not with battle.net but rather with your internet connection. You should ask around and choose a better ISP for gaming online.

It's either your connection or your brothers.

That obviously can't be the problem, because I live in Florida and was the one hosting for you guys. If anything, I'm basically the same distance from your brother as you are.
Are you sure you both have port 6112 forwarded properly?

That is probably the problem. The message it shows on battle.net is just misleading.

What does that mean?

Then you probably don't.
