Here we are! So I was playing around Google, looking for interesting script generators and found a cool way how to get an animated siggy.

First is create your own design at the site (http://cooltext.com/) where I found it.- note that the font size must be between 40 and 45* so that the image size would fall on the required 50KB quota.

Next is save your design on your PC, upload it via ImageShack or PhotoBucket, or Kupatrix, and then access your user's cp.

Lastly, this is a simple step *basic step really* that you should do, get the direct link to the uploaded image and upload it on WarBoards (be reminded of the 50KB quota), and there you have it! Your own animated siggy.

*Note that the size will not only rely on the font size, but also on the length of the text that you will put, and the animation that you chose.

I felt like sharing this because I have been around lenghty discussions of where to get them, so here it is.

Credits go to Scottie of DesignEdge (currently under closed down and took over by Google )

Yours seems to have a frame of just white where it starts over...is that supposed to happen?

On a side note, won't that fire get horrendously annoying after a while?

Seriously Doc, of course it has a loop frame, every GIF has. And the annoyance of it will depend on who looks at it. Hey, I'm not annoyed by AJ's dog, so...

But AJ's dog is small and not so distracting. And it doesn't blink.

Hey. you noticed that. Well, as I've said, the distraction relies on who sees it. For example, I am sooooo annoyed by your and WestDC's merry christmas siggy. :P

You know, I have been meaning to change that at some point.

Not every gif, not if you do it right

Yeah of course, DS. It depends on where you use it. For example, I use non-loops when making GIF movies, and loops when I make renders.

No, You can have it loop and not have it blink as a GIF. Its simply a matter of having your flame pattern end where the first frame would be the next step, one flowing into the other would eliminate the blink of the restarting GIF
