Lately I had some trouble getting on Starcraft.org with Safari. Long loadtimes, trouble sending comments (as in, having to wait 20 minutes before something seems to happen), etc.
It works fine on Firefox, so it isn't my internet connection.
Is it just my computer acting weird or are there other people who have these problems?
--Ok so it seems that the problems are completly random, now the load times to get to the frontpage are normal again. >_>? Trying to get to my private messages still takes ages.
Not to sound like a fanboy or anything, but just stick with firefox?
I read up on Safari when they ported it over to windows, and i thought most mac people didn't even like it =X
Not sure what to tell you at any rate, if it's only a problem in safari it can't be sc.org, clear safari's cache or something?
(or) wait for AJ to comment, since he's a mac-d00d and uses safari.

I use safari and it works fine for me; maybe it's an issue specific to your computer?
EDIT: Ah, wait, on my brothers computer (an intel mac running leopard), I do have the problem you're describing. But I didn't a few days ago... hmmm..... Do you use leopard Safari and/or run an intel mac?

Yes, I do have Leopard and I do have an Intel mac.
Interesting though, what can cause this problem?
Under the Window dropdown, go to the Activity window when you're experiencing these issues.
I'm betting it's just struggling to load some of the inter-domain content. Safari itself renders sc.org fine and can't be blame for loading it slower than other browsers.
