Which HDTV?

Ok im looking to invest some money into some HDTV goodness.

Iv narrowed it down to an LCD (lol).

Is it worth the extra money going the full 1080 or is 768 good enuff.
Is a HDTV even worth it lol

This is mainly for gaming/blu ray movies and HDTV viewing (:P).

well... i dont know about hdtv... but you should look for them yourself, i mean, go to your nearest store (walmart,circuit city, bestbuy,sears, etc,etc) and watch them and talk with the employees about their suggestions...

but, mainly, watch, see, look, observe how the hdtv looks, and check for sharpness, brightness, etc.

Actually, I think personally it would be more worth it to hook the HDTV cable up to a computer and watch it there, but hey, people like to see it big.
(Actually I think a projector increases size without decreasing quality).
But I can't really say. I've never owned a HDTV.
