2nd Attempt

It has been a long time since I have tinkered with photoshop or tried to do anything creative. But I finally got the urge again.

I redid the sig 1001 times but the Av is just a cut and size. I thought it was perfect the way it was for what I was after.

For those that don't play Eve online I guess I should explain.
Pirates call PvE players Carebears, as I am primarily a PvE player that pretty much makes me a Carebear. But now I have grown a taste for hunting a pirate or two.

But anyway, I only used these three images this time.
What do you think?

Pretty good, but I think more of the focus could be shifted to the ship, rather than the skull. Just a suggestion, but the sig is still really good.

Fair enough, I made the skull a bit smaller. I think it looks a bit better, thanks for the suggestion.

It's good, I like it. I'd only suggest a couple minor changes. First I'd say a border would be great, nothing fancy just a 1px black border. Secondly I think the crosshair needs more contrast as it disappears into the background in the top right quarter. Perhaps make it a bit smaller and white? Dunno, it's good as is though.

why is it Manticore?
Manticore is a Caldari Tech II frigate class stealth bomber from the game EVE online. (http://www.eve-online.com)
It takes a while to get to but its a very fun ship to fly.
Receives a speed bonus when cloaked, all other ships receive a handicap. (except other covert op vessels.)
Receives a roll bonus of 99% reduction in CPU and powergrid needs for Cruise Missile launchers and Bomb Deployment bay, both witch are usually only able to be fitted to much larger vessels.
Other vessels also receive a targeting delay after decloaking, the Manticore can target instantly.
She can instakill another frigate and is a serious threat to even a battleship.

She's sweet.

I'm not one for MMORPG's (hate the grinding), but I did play space sims a while back. Descent: Freespace, mainly. Always loved to fly the Hercules-Mark I with Prometheus-Banshee setups and a full load of Hornets, just because I hate the slowness of the bombers. Cruisers would go under faster than in a bomber, and I was nothing to laugh at doing dogfighting. Good times.

And some guys on eve radio were hating for amarr ships, even the sac's armor tanking capabilities which is completely nonsensical. They didn't give me any true reasons, after I interrogated them thoroughly. The main proof VanatheHunter gave me was that the phobos was a better tank as an HI. He's just a bitch though.

Anyway man, name's Heyte online. We should look each other up. :D

I have never had an armor tanked vessel yet, as a result Mechanics has been largely ignored on my skilltree (apart from salvaging and base level 4's).
Engineering is pretty full though, you should see the shields on my Drake. 15k+ hitpoints on the shields and a recharge rate of 247 sec and resistances of about 80% for everything. I solo level 3 missions in her.
She is useless at PvP though, very slow plus poor maneuverability.
Good for setting traps though, she takes a bit to kill and will last while corp mates jump from a couple of systems away.
