Ok, I have recently acquired one of these:

But I have no fucking clue what it is or what it does.

It allows you to hook up composite video (DVD player, VCR, stuff you normally plug into a TV with the red, white, and yellow A/V cables, you know?) to a computer.

Yeah, it's a video output from PC to TV. I'd love to have one, and that one seems to be kind of old. (3DFX VooDoo? Borderline Ancient, Mag! :))
