It's not a parody of the bible; it’s a joke against fundamentalist Christians. Namely Baptists who believe that everyone who isn't Baptist is going to hell. Really anybody who isn't Baptist should be able to appreciate it. Sadly, there seems to be a few anally retentive people here.

i agree, im a christian too and i also find that "landover baptist church" just a "bit" dissturbing. I admit that some of the articles can be funny, but that doesnt make them any less insulting... or distrubing...

I thought the site was actually quite funny, and I'm Christian. I'n not Baptist, my denomination is more "laid-back", so maybe I'm just coming from a different direction. It's fairly obvious they're making fun, so as long as you read it from that perspective I don't think it's offensive. Reminds me a little of Cicadaville with the design...
