I would like to change my username, if any admin can... is it possible??? can you please do it?

You need to PM AJ for special requests like that, as only uber-administrators can change names, if the rules haven't changed. (I'd hate to think what protogod would do if he was given that power...yeech.) Hasn't this been covered loads of times before though?

And Doctor is right. Only AJ can change your name. You better PM him for that.

Actually, you can PM one of the mods. Take Basan for example, I PM'd him requesting my username to be changed (capitalize the F and Z) and he said he'll relay it to the admins and happened on my next log in.

Now for real, changing names is serious matter (usually granted to old and/or regular members) and we hope that when you pick that change it'll be well thought out before submitting that request. PM'ing an admin' about it usually gets the job done quicker than a moderator but both are open to be chosen by.

*Sighs* It's not really a matter of changing just for the heck of it but instead to pick it really well (as in, give it a good pondering) when and if you're doing so. And since you're around here for quite a while and are a regular I think that the admin's won't have much of hassle doing it. I'd also like to say that usually good members get it done more easily than lets say badly behaved ones.

Please note that we don't appreciate having to issue out name changes all that often.

This isn't something to do just "on a whim" or "because you don't like that letter"

I know AJ has been pretty lenient, but he's hinted at this more then once that he doesn't like changing user's names.

Anyways, the mods are right. It isn't always a good idea to change your userame just for the sake of appearance (this is such a big hassle, believe me).

That was exactly what I meant. For members like me, it'd feel more at ease to relay it to the mods because mods are the ones who are most usually active in posting, and are the ones who we usually talk with. :)

Yeah, IIRC they are much more lenient when its something silly like man I was an idiot when I created my user name and forgot to capitalize the "D" in Darkslayer, full out changes are only ever gonna happen once if they ever happen at all.

DS' is right. As has been mentioned before around here name changes aren't that often to occur and usually are regarded as a special 'gift' granted far more easily to well behaved members. You all can figure out the rest... I think. :shiftyl:
