Ok, it took some reading, but I see where you're coming from. Wasn't easy to figure out what the hell you were getting at, but I got there (now I'm sweating...)

The prank? That's just how simple minded some people can be. If people are ignorant enough to not think that there's something behind it other than some deity or form of magic was performing those actions can just stay stupid. If they don't have the brain power to think that there is something more logical, you teach them.

Although, it would be a fun prank to show and then explain. And if the people you're explaining it to has no idea about computers... double win! :D

But your fourth link gave me shock. This one (http://www.crossroad.to/ask-peter/q-a.htm) where there was an actual person replying made me wonder what the hell you know. How much of the occult do you know? I don't know too much, but what I do know, they're very dangerous and to be stayed away from. RP's (which is what Fable is, right?) can be dangerous. Fun, but dangerous. The occult runs on meditation. As does any religion. Meditation isn't wrong. A synonym for meditation could be studying. Or memorizing even. Meditation isn't wrong. What you could be memorizing is the key... depending on where you stand with such ideas of religions and occults.

When older, such things may not have as much sway on the mind as it would on a child. Even then you might want to be wary... But, usually by the time that age rolls around, things seem to be pretty stable. Mostly, it has to do with what's going on in life where ideas of following through on fictional RPs could come to life.

Yes it is good to have a moral structure it keeps things civil and people from hacking each other to death to reasonable %.
If kids who meditate on games like Fable (which, as far as I know have to do with sorcery and killing) will influence their minds. Which could interest kids into hacking and uncivil ideas. You're dealing with a brain that acts like a sponge at that age. You think that school shootings happen outta nowhere? This is a long shot, but could relations between shooter games that have main characters killing their most hated enemies be related to real life? Don't tell me it doesn't happen. There's enough real shootings that could prove a small connection.
