Are there any good 7th grade reaing level books I can read? I need one, that isn't too fictional(magic, vampires, etc.). Because, I need it for a book report, and I need one where I can make a good report out of. this is my fourth, and books I can use are ones like The Giver, My brother Sam is dead, and The Pearl.

Moby Dick...?
One book I just finished is called Nothing To Lose. It's about this kid who runs away form home and joins a traveling circus, then returns a year later to find that his mother is on trial for murdering his step dad. Very good book, I stayed up 'till 1:30 to finish it. :P

Actually, when I was in seventh grade I read a book about a haunted ship, and there was lost of freaky stuff that happened.
Called "Ship of Terror", 100 pages of easy-reading.

Jurassic Park is a good book.
Crichton tries to make it sound real.

My teacher made me read that in 7th grade. Let me know when you get to the chapter where the garbage men try to rape the children after luring them into their building with food.
...
I'm not kidding. And I read that in 7th fucking grade. Fucking school ruined my life..

Why the hell would you post that as advice for a book?
I've got an idea, why don't you actually try to offer something better than what you were given.
Try Where the Red Fern Grows, zerg.

Oh yeah, Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut is an amuzing, quirky but also interesting book. Works on many levels.
I'm currently reading Bill Bryson's autobiography of his childhood. Pretty good. 'The life and times of the Thunderbolt Kid'.

anyway, The book I have right now is Code talkers. It's a pretty good book. I like it. It's about a young navajo boy in the world war 2(i think) and he is part of some thing called the code talkers, where they speak in the navajo language so the enemies won't find out their plans.
So, why did you ask for suggestions if you weren't going to use them?
Why the hell would you post that as advice for a book?
Because it's an autobiography, it's extremely difficult reading, and it's a sad book to read. He said he wanted to get a good grade, and he wanted something non-fiction. I offered it. Not like it mattered, he just needed a topic to get another +1 post. I don't think I've ever actually seen any substance in any of this kid's posts at all.

I read Stephen King's The Stand: The Complete and Uncut Edition for a report in seventh grade. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stand
It was like 1500 pages.

Mabye Monster. Its 281 pages, and a screenplay, so it goes by fast.

MY BROTHER!
Yeah. I'm totally in with you.
"please give me a book with x". People give plenty, and turns out he didnt even consider reading a single one of them. Funnily enough, just about every one of his posts are like this.
'Make enough semi-funny threads, some of em gotta give me rep'
'Let's make a thread so that I get more posts'
'Let's post so I get more posts'
