Deckard Cain go go go

GrassDragon
12-12-2007, 10:10 AM
You had to put Deckard Cain against Link and Jim Raynor :concern: he'll never win this way.

"Stay a while, and listen!"

Like I told you it was entirely random. Chances were 1/25 he'd land here. :P

Link. Need I day more :D

Mr.Bad
12-12-2007, 3:54 PM
Um, yea, give reason while you'd pick Link over a member of the Starcraft Universe. I don't care if Lin is going against a probe or an SCV, Link is going to be pwned.

Glory to Link!

Atillawurm
12-12-2007, 7:25 PM
wow Link is owning SC 0_o I never thought he would be this popular, do I get some kind of token or gift if he wins?

DarkMirror
12-12-2007, 7:31 PM
Jim has no chance vs link. Link wears a tunic, and is badass in it. He finds masks that let him transform, meets imps that turn him into wolves...

Plus, he can put up with this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=duRO3noyAKU).

Atillawurm invented black. In fact, he invented the entire spectrum of visible light. Except pink. Jimmy_the_saint invented pink.

GLORY TO THE TERRANSSS!!!!!

Jim Raynor can pwn link with his bike or battlecruiser
Link could pwn Jim's life! :P
He could easily find a way to kick Jim's ass. He could use his hookshot and grapple to the end of his battlecruiser and swing around to bash through the window to kick 'em in the face! Then stab him repeatedly in the face with the legendary Master Sword.

Mr.Bad
12-12-2007, 7:53 PM
,But Raynor would blow Link's face off with a gauss rifle. End of story. Link loses. And dies.

DarkMirror
12-12-2007, 7:55 PM
Fairies. Link lives again, uses the boomerang to disarm Raynor, and kills him with mastersword.

Mr.Bad
12-12-2007, 8:17 PM
But then Raynor is cloned, and him and his army continue to kill Link until he stays dead.

TheOutcast
12-12-2007, 9:26 PM
But then Link uses another fairy and takes the gauss rifle out of Raynors hand with his hookshot and then shoots raynor in the face. End of story, Raynor get's pwnt, and dies.

Oh, and link destoryes the cloning machine.

DarkMirror
12-12-2007, 9:30 PM
There is no cloning in SC. HAH AH AH AH! Now, please get back on track.

Ironic for you Mr. Bad. Link is winning!

Mr.Bad
12-12-2007, 10:28 PM
Fine. Link owns Raynor. But wait till he faces off with Kerrigan. Blade Queen or Sniper Chick, you choose the form.

DarkMirror
12-12-2007, 10:41 PM
True. However... people like heroes more most of the time, plus heroes almost always beat them. So link would still win.

Mr.Bad
12-12-2007, 10:42 PM
Both Infested Kerrigan and normal Kerrigan are heros, at least by the SC definition.

Both Infested Kerrigan and normal Kerrigan are heros, at least by the SC definition. The man (and I use that term lightly :P) has a point ya know. Kerrigan, in both forms, is indeed a hero as well.

And by my mathematics, 2 > 1.

Protoss_Honor
12-13-2007, 12:04 AM
And by my mathematics, 2 > 1.You wanna use that argument? According to the creators of the LEgend of Zelda Series, the majority of games has a different Link. He is not really one character so much as a blond haired human male with pointy ears and almost always a green tunic named Link that comes forth to battle evil. So, "Unknown exact number that is definately over 3" > 2. Ha!

masterofhobbiton
12-13-2007, 12:10 AM
XD, PH has a point there. Let's see... LOZ/Zelda II link, LTTP link, oracle link, WW/PH link, Minish Cap link, OoT/MM link... That's 6>2. Link beats raynor because the player is link, whereas raynor's just a guy who you point at and click at him to go places. Plus, link has cool death screams and stuff, raynor dies like a marine.

You're talking about 6 Links over 6 games. There are 2 Kerrigans in one SC game.
6/6=1
2/1=2
2>1
Kerrigan wins with higher concentration.

That just makes it sound like they have no originality....

6 links over 10 games, but w/e. However, there are FOUR four swords links in one game! Bwah hah ha!

Thedutchjelle
12-13-2007, 2:17 AM
You are using math to prove which hero is better?
Seriously wtf.

( More people must vote Durandal :( )

The precise chronology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronology) of the Zelda universe is hotly debated among fans, although some fans do not feel the games are definitively connected. As the series progressed, and more games were released, the exact order of the games in an overall timeline became complex and heavily disputed.
In the instruction booklet for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past it is revealed that this particular Link is an ancestor of the Link from the NES games. Also the Nintendo 64 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time does the same thing in relation to the SNES Link. It is not known how much time has passed in Hyrule between each of these games.
In an interview conducted by Nintendo Dream with Eiji Aonuma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eiji_Aonuma) in December 2006, he mentioned that there exists two different Zelda universes. The split in the timeline occurs during Ocarina of Time, when, at the end of the game, Link is sent back in time by Princess Zelda. Once returned to his original time, Link goes to see her again, and the result of this meeting is an alternate future in which the villain Ganondorf is arrested and tried by the ancient sages, which causes him to be banished to the Twilight Realm; Twilight Princess then occurs over one hundred years after the Ocarina of Time child Link's era. Meanwhile, The Wind Waker occurs in the "adult Link" timeline, hundreds of years after the adventure of the adult-Link in the future of Ocarina of Time. Not a big lack of originality there, eh?

How many times has link saved the world? 9001, and with gracious style each time.
