Helping using SCMDraft

I just unzipped the file and run the program. I type a profile name and added it. How do I get it to edit a map? I click on edit but I can't open any map.

Just go to file. SCMDraft always starts with a blank screen thing. Go to open or create a new one, depending on what you choose.

I never really got what the profile thing meant, so I just use default.

Although I've never tried creating another profile for SCMDraft 2 (apart the "default" one) I believe that it may be used to store different user settings like the program's "master settings" and such. ;)

some maps are protected as you may already know, so thats why you cant open some of other peoples maps, if you are. The user thing, just go to okay, not edit. Edit means u edit the profile selected, such as sprites and such. I think this may be what u mean, but if it itnt you never read this...
