If this is in the wrong forum, please forgive me. I just thought that Maps and Mods Websites could also be mentioned here.
Would anyone be interested in making a web ring (In Geocities, earthlink, etc.), thus making everyone have more traffic?
If you would please post here, I'd be all over it and making links (also, please make an image or "cool text" for the link image).

Sure, I meant like having multiple websites and linking them all together using links. Having 1 master page and also having seperate websites, free ones of course, and then you have 1 large website giving everyone complete control over their section of the main website.

Aren't we supposedly part of the "Org Network"? Made up of StarCraft.org, warboards.org, warcraft.org, and campaigncreations.org? (and camsys.org, but they died)
Nonetheless, I don't think the Org Network has a master page.

I think he means putting our own personal sites in a webring.

Oh, he does. Whoops. It kinda seemed ambiguous at the time I wrote that.

Actually, if you look carefully, when the page loads, you can see that the images are being downloaded from "http://img.orgnetwork.com". Unfortunately, www.orgnetwork.com cannot be contacted. But the "img" subdomain exists. Perhaps we could use www.orgnetwork.com as our "flagship site".

"Flag Ship?" I meant like using Geocities and making one ;). That way every member could make a part of the ring if they wanted to and it's free :).

P.S.S. Mozilla FireFox is awesome I've had it for about 2 weeks now and have only found 1 problem with it, it can easily be fixed though ;).

Yeah, I know what you mean. Like get a few other people and they all make site using geocities or something and you get a web ring and link them all together. Right?

Yah, also Geocities works better for editting then free sites does. It only shows 3 lines of HTML at a time at freewebs :S.

erm... what?
oh and even if that does matter (although i have no idea what it means) you can actually put links into your pages on freewebs, have a sidebar with up to 7 pages, much more spiffy designs, and lots and lots of other cool stuff.

(Hi spdstr, so now you like my idea of advertising your site, lol)
What he means is if you have a personal website, like mine (link in sig) we could put links to each others site on our sites.
EXAMPLE: On my website I have a link to spdstr's site, and on his site he has a link to my site. This way, if someone visits my site, and clicks spdstr's link, he gets more traffic. If someone goes to his site and clicks my link, I get more traffic. Thusly, each website has 2 times as many visitors.
Spdstr is suggesting that maybe 10 people put links to each others sites and thusly multiply all of our personal site traffic by 10 times. Thats a lot of visitors for a personal website! (I'm currently at 224 visitors)
If we need a good webspace provider, I'm a subscriber of Earthlink Cable, which comes with free webspace, with unlimited everthing, and no adds on my site.
PM me and spdstr OR post in this thread if you would like to join us in bringing more traffic to all of our sites.

Please visit, give me comments/suggestions, and join if you want. We need to come up with a name for our "Web Ring" (that means you spdstr)
