Are there any other spells (less dark swarm, disruption web and scanner sweep) that can be used with triggers/ what programs are needed? Also can spells be owned by a single player? I am having trouble using the spells in triggers unless I set the spell as being owned by 'all players'.

i.e.
Conditions:
-All players bring atleast 1 Dark Swarm to location
Actions:
-Remove 1 Dark Swarm for all players at location
-Whatever....

No, there aren't any other spells that can be detected by triggers that you have not already listed.

For your trigger, the player who cast the spell usually owns it, but some elite map makers have said they belong to P12. So you should try out both and see which works.

Well for the dark swarm it is not owned by the player who castes it so i am guessing its p12. Im sure I have seen other spells used im maps though? meh.

After looking around the Dark Swarm is infact owned by P12 and not the player who casted it, but you seem to have figured that out yourself already.

1st of all I'll assume that u're talking about SC X-tra as a tool 4 map making (that as small modding
I'm not sure if the trigger system in SC X-tra will detect n' use more than these spells, but I believe it also has the Recall (Arbiter required) wich I'm testing out in a map movie. And I also believe that it has the Nuke abillity (Ghost required) but I'm not sure if u'd have 2 possess a working (attached to a C.C.) filled nuke silo (A.I triggering needed) 2 pull it off...
Please correct me, if I'm mistaken.

I meant it has small modding capability (hidden triggers, unit n' spell placing compared 2 Staredit).
Sorry If wasn't clear enough but I didn't have the time 2 check upon it since a fella at work came by n' I had 2 submit the post without checking it 4 typing bloopers or easy reading on ur behalf...

I state again, 4 u ppl 2 correct me if I'm mistaken.

I am using SF as the trigger editor as I am not sure SCXE will work with spells in triggers. The recall and nuke abilities are AI scripts, not what i am looking for.

Well cast recall is an AIscript, but triggers cant actually detct it, otherwise it would be a placeable unit in SCXE.

Well that still has nothing to do with modding, it is still making maps. If there was some miracle program that had a map editor and every single modding utility in one, Or there where some program programmers here at WB *hint hint* (no, you didnt say anything about that, but its a cool idea) that would be incredibly awsome, but alas.. it does not exist
