Connection difficulties

I have been encountering some connection drops or time-outs often now. It started before the site 'broke down' and even after the Site is back to 100%. Thanks for bearing with us. message, I still have some jitters or difficulties, and most usually at night around 8PM (GMT +8). It says:

Connection timed-out. WarBoards is taking too long to respond. (Firefox)

or sometimes

Server not found. Firefox can't find the server at www.WarBoards.com.

I tried reporting this to the ISP staff, but they told me its not due to the internet connection, and possibly the WarBoards server is dropping occasionally. May I know how to fix this? :)

Does the site load after you hit "f5" (or refresh the page?)

Indicates you may be getting hammered, I just fixed someone's computer that was exhibiting these same symptoms.

Though is it only Warboards or is it out sites as well?

Run any scans lately?

edit: other warboards is working for me, and hasn't hiccuped to recently that I can recall, so really it's got to be something on your end... that or some cruddy routing.

I had a similar problem one time. It happened a few years ago, and it was with Yahoo sites. Every site worked fine, except for my Yahoo ones. I called my ISP and it was a problem with my local DNS for broadband.

You might want to look into that.

Thank God all it needed was a bump.

Hmmm... thanks. Though it only happens when I'm with WarBoards, and won't load even after I hit the refresh key.

Side note: Sometimes I have to wait half a day before I can enter WarBoards. At one time, I even thought that I may have been banned for unknown cause. Plus, my problem is resolved successfully everytime I use proxy servers.
