Currently I have 6 high scores. Why the hell hasn't anybody tried harder? I couldn't get past the first level of donkey kong, yet I still got the high score.

Except I just looked at the arcade and all the scores got reset, including the number 1 on tetris. So blind faith FTL.

Only the all-time best scores are saved.

There's no mystery to that. I think GA was assuming that your indication of Tetris dominance extended to the best score ever as well as just #1.

It worked in the past, and I don't assume that the flash files ever changed, so clearly it's not *their* fault that it's not working now.

We have the following for given:

1. You don't change the flash files
Which leads to: 2. The flash files never changed
And 3. The flash files used to work

If they never changed and they used to work, why would they suddenly stop working? hmm?

because the main problem here is not the arcade itself.
it is 99% of the time an issue with your browser session not sustaining itself while playing in the arcade.

outside of that, most of these games are just jury-rigged to work with the arcade script, and all of them by different programmers of varying skill.

there is absolutely nothing that can be done on my end to fix any of your score-related issues.

don't act like you understand it better, Aqo, because you don't.

the fact that it has worked in the past does not imply anything, for the record.
vBulletin and other BBS-based arcades are not known for their impeccable scoring abilities.

if you need high scores that bad, download cheap freeware. :P
