Because in like BGs hes pretty good, but vs mobs he kinda sucks, imo. Void is more useful, at least to me.

Honestly i think the best current warlock PVP spec is hybrid affliction/demon, getting siphon life rather then fel.

I heard it was crazy good at L50 and tends to scale a little less impressively than some of the other builds.

Yea its like he was good at first but he just cant tank near as well as a void and his dps vs mobs isnt great enough to give up a good spell like siphon life.

Everybody LOVES Siphon Life. I'm kind of ambivalent. What's so great about it?

Drain Life seems so much better, and all those DoTs tend to burn up mana so fast. :/

Felguards for arena can be pretty impressive. They do dmg, pushback/interrupt spellcasts, and skill-link with felguards turns into a lot of dmg that gets transferred before soul link runs off from a dead pet.

Felguards were definitely a much more significant force at 60 than they are now. I can pretty much tank them this point unless the lock was already hitting me, whereas at 60 the thing could take a significant chunk of my health by itself.

I would never invest 41 of my warlock's points for that scrub.

I tried it level 62-65 and it just didn't have the flare that UA/DR has...

Now I just need to get more phat lewt so I can go full destruction...

I tried respeccing to Felguard for some laffs yesterday @ L57.

In the first fight with a mob, I basically DoT'd him then stood there waiting for the Felguard to finish it off. My spells were basically doing dick and I couldn't pull aggro off of the Felguard if I wanted to with my shit for damage. Then, after the mob died, I'm missing like 1/4 of my mana and my Felguard is 1/2 and 1/2. We take on a second mob, and I'm out another 1/4 of my mana and my Felguard is at 1/4 and 1/4. Wow, so time to burn through some stacks of food and drink...NOT.

Needless to say, I literally immediately turned around and respecced back to Affliction.

That build is BALLS, and I will never ever go back to Felguard again. Fuck THAT.

felguard could use a buff, imo. Afterall hes supposed to be the best pvp pet and i sincerely doubt he is.

Is he the best pet? Oh yah, for sure. Is he worth spending 41 points in Demonology talents to get? Fuck no. A voidwalker offers a 1k free cast nodamage buff on sac, a succ can stun for up to 13s, felhunter takes no shit from priests, mages, etc., and imp is ballz. But you don't need to blow your uber-damage spells to get those clowns, either.

I'm thinking Destruction splash Demo for improved stamina, mana, and Imp sac is the way to go: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warlock/talents.html?0000000000000000000002050033133200100 000000505000512200510531300

That'd be a hoot. Note how I can use my Succubus to stun them for like 20s, position myself, cast Soul Fire, then instasummon an imp and sac it for ridiculous fire damage.

1.3k Soul Fire dmg + 15% = 1.5k Soul Fire Dmg * 2 + 1.5k = 4.5k crits!

Total theorycraft assuming awesome equipment, but isn't that how we all do WoW Maths? That's how I do them, anyway, and I have a lot of fun doing it, let me tell you. :D

Vs a lock, id much prefer to have my felhunter out rather then my felguard. Vs a mage, probally a felhunter.

I dunno im a felhunter fan, that silence tends to buy some nice time.

Felguard is okay for leveling and 5v5. It does need a buff since it's weaker for tanking compared to the voidwalker and for dps succubus is better. I'm currently leveling with it and affliction is good for leveling also, but it's just a matter of playstyle.

Demonology/Destruction is a good build for PvE raiding. Once you get up to late SSC/TK and higher gear it beats affliction in damage. Sacrifice the succubus and shadowbolt spam. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZcxczIbzZxx0tr0tVuV

Yes, well, if I wanted to be a raiding whore I'd get my druid and go resto.

Because honestly, I can't get people off my nuts about raiding whenever I'm on my Druid. I have horrible gear and shitty this and shitty that, and I still get people all up on my testicleez about "CUM RAID WITH USSSZSZSZ". I can top healing charts in a BG because resto Druids are so bomb ass crazy imba, but honestly I do not give a monkey damn about raiding with my imba resto Druid. Why? Because solo content for resto Druids is non-existant and I'm not going to be devoting two four-hour clips of my time on Mon-Thurs or w/e on playing the Everybody Cooperate game.

If feral Druids are ever worth two squirts of piss, I'll play with the resto. Otherwise, fuck it. Tree form against all these axe-wielding maniacs is suicide.
