(I mean the gree field that turns red if there is terrain on wich u cant place buildings)
(e.g. Missle turret has 2x2, barracks 4x6)

If you want to know the building basic size inside your SC-BW map editor just snap the grid on and place all the buildings that you want to know its size. *Wink, hint*
And I trust that maybe you're referring to modding said buildings size, right Touljo? :o

I know how to get the right size...^^
I want to know how to change. So that the brracks not have 3X4. It should have maybe 1x2 or 6x10.
how can i change it?

I think modding can do it, but mapping most certainly cannot.

I am not certain how you would change the actual space the building takes, but you might find out using Datedit...
But thats just the noobs opinion...
It's in datedit in the graphics tab under "Unit dimensions".

Okay thx this works. But i dont know how much pixels are 1X1 or 2X3.
If i double the value (e.g. for Missleturret), the basic size is only a little bit bigger...
Someone knows better than me?

16 pixels = one unit block in a normal size grid (referring in StarEdit)
I think that says that somewhere in the IceCC manual, nothing you should worry about getting atm. But yea, 16 pixels = one unit block.
If you want a dimensions of two, then you simply multiply 16 by 2 (= 32 pixels) and etc...
