Care to tell me what you're getting?
We don't send emails, so I assume you're getting notifications of PMs or something?

In which case that is controlled outside of that option.

no, really, it couldn't be that simple.

...escpecially considering i did that already. the warboards autodialer is broken, keeps sending me updates on "star wars books", and now one of my files is still being read as posted, after i deleted it.

if you're getting updates like that then that means you subscribed to a thread.
the "do not receive email" option solely prevents us from sending you mail with regards to mass mailings that i manually operate, not all functions of the site.

Mjolnir, then try to head into here, inside your subscribed threads, (http://www.warboards.org/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription&folderid=all) and tick the thread(s) that are sending an e-mail and head below to it's "select threads" options window and change those to "no e-mail notification". As simple as pie. ;)
