Anyone who doesn't already know how much of a pain in the ass it is to have to move between .dat files and multiple programs just to do a simple mod has never modded before. This is especially true on mac since you either have a choice of "emulate and use AIII, which sucks" or "use AZ", which is about as annoying because you have to type out the path in the command line and can't work on more than one set of .dat files at once without it being a huge pain in the ass to type out the various filenames. The point is, I have a nice plan for an "Arsenal X" program, which would allow you to edit all the .dat files at once like an improved a3, tbl files, including using an edit button to edit an entry that is pointed to by another file, and iscript.bin, through the images editor. I have the gui mostly laid out, and the concepts necessary to create it, but I need some people more experienced with XCode and Obj-C than I am to help this move along. Anyone interested can aim me at PervigilisHaplo or email:starfirex@comcast.net. This will be for OSX 10.2 or later.
