How do i use trigedit? It only works with realplayer for some reason as a scaleable multicast, yes, i've used the search button fior 2 days and zilch, and since SMC Draft 2 won't work because it needs the Trigedit plugin, i need to figure out how to use Trigedit.

Question 2: How do i make it so all units have 255 upgrades or more?

*Moves thread into the Maps & Mods section*
Hello there NecroBreaker, I'd advise ya to check the Mapping FAQ/Editing Resources thread (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=13285) to get the latest version of SCMDraft 2 which already comes with both its trigger editors (the text based one and the StarEdit based one).

And for getting up to 255 levels of upgrades all you need to do is to get an advanced editor (like for instance SCMDraft 2 and SF) and then proceed into its upgrades part to set those upgrades to the desired number you want. ;)

Which part are you getting an error? Using trigedit, or setting all unit's upgrades to 255?

Maybe a picture will help enlighten a few things... ;)

And which OS are you using? I ask this because Vista tends to screw up with it sometimes. :P

I had to make a plugin folder and place the sdp files in there for it to work.....

A thing that instantly tells me that you're not using the latest version of SCMDraft 2 (http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net/cntt/software/scmdraft/download/). :P Hence that my tiny picture that subtly showed which version was. ;)

Well, i downloaded SCM Draft 2 in the linked forum.....hey, what can i do in that version?

New Question:How do i make it so the WARNING UNIT ____ COULD NOT BE PLACE AT AREA (___),(____)?

You can do all of the above that I've been saying throughout this thread. ;p

And sorry but I didn't quite get that last part. That warning msg usually appears on a map when it has messed up triggers to spawn units or when the map's unit max' capability has been reached (read, 1650 units/buildings).

I thought there'd be a way to stop that without stopping the continuous flow of units.

The StarCraft engine has limits, the max unit count on a single map maxes out sometime. Either you hit that, or you're trying to place a unit in a place that it cannot be placed.

I believe this means the area is too crowded to spawn more units.

try moving your location a little, or recreate the trigger. SCMdraft tends to mess up sometimes.

oh, well, abandoning the last question, how do i place computer opponents with SCM Draft? I saved it, and the computer opponent still isn't showing up..

This is what i've done:

Player 1 on force 1(Human)
Player 2 in force 2(computer)

I'm quite sure this is generic UMS skills...You might want to refer to the map Facts and Questions. (If it's a melee map, a starting location is what's needed, the rest is done automatically.)

Here's the basic requirements for having a computer player in UMS.

First and foremost, set the player to computer. (Which you did, I think.)

Second, place a starting location, preferably the same place that you place their CC, Hatchery, or Nexus.

Third, open up the locations, and create a location around the main building. Label the location whatever you wish.

Fourth, open triggers/actions. I'll show a sample.

Conditions: Always
Actions: Run AI Script (Choose script) at location (The location you placed.)

I hope this helps.

Well, i'm just making a map to watch an AI war, i used melee settings, i did everything but the AI location stuff.
