Rarely do I question the sexuality of a movie, but it's a phenonomen that I question the sexuality of TWO movies. It's about as rare as Shawn headbutting his family tree and getting a quick lay to fall out of its branches.

I was at Blockbuster and found a movie that was about a gay poolboy. It got some award from some gay and lesbian association. But The Village does look dumb.

Anchorman looks hilarious to me :) I just wish that they were able to use the R-rated material that they shot (and used bits of in one of the earlier trailer). PG-13 means all the jokes are neutered.

The Village, on the other hand, is crap. I've heard some (multiply-confirmed) rumors that it deserves the title of Dumbest Twist Ending Evar.

village = wtf? ok so we take a bunch of stupid people that wear crap clothes, put them in the middle of the forest with crappy one floor houses and... they cant leave the forest or have the color red.

I like the flicks M. Night Shyamalan writes and directs, and from what I've accidentally seen, The Village looks very good (although I'd prefer if he went for supernatural drama [like Unbreakable] instead of horror, because horror movies require obligatory scenes of building tension and then something to jump out of the shadows at us. During this time, absolutely nothing is happening plot-wise).

Anchorman, however, is the kind of movie I fear being trapped to see. Like I'm with friends and they all spontaneously decide to see Anchorman, and I've left my license at home or something. The movie just looks so stupid.

However, did anyone see Katie Couric interview Will Ferrel in character on The Early Show this morning? That interview was actually pretty funny. The highlights:
