Patch 2.3 goes live tomorrow, anybody as excited as I am for some of the changes?

I'm looking forward to the hunter pvp changes, namely the arcane shot dispel and the MS Aimed Shot. I can see how frustrating a BM hunter might eventually become to pretty much any healing class in an arena.

Plus, ZA sounds like it will be fun. My guild is going at it right when servers come up tomorrow, hoping to have server first clear/on bosses.

This is a compiled list of all current known changes. These are subject to change at any time.
ADDED A SECTION AT THE BOTTOM FOR SEASON 3 ARENA INFORMATION. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PATCH 2.3

General

• New daily quests targeting a random battleground each day (UPDATED) http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=2038113831&sid=1
•Healing Reduction effects now affect all Drain spells and abilities (i.e. Mortal Strike vs Drain Life)
•Level 20-60 Quest EXP has been increased, while EXP to Level has been decreased
•New Title - Champion of the Naaru: Awarded to those who complete the Tempest Keep attunement quest at level 70
•New Flying Mount added. Requires 2,000g and Exalted with Cenarion Expedition
•New 10-Man Raid - Zul'Aman!
•Guild Banks!
•New Arena Relics have been added for more talent specs, and existing Relics have been renamed to create a more consistent naming convention
•1/3rd of +Healing will count as +Dmg

PvP

•Battlegrounds now have a buff period upon entering, and upon being resurrected at the Spirit Healer (similar to Arenas)
•New Battleground rewards: Boots, Belt, and Bracers

Mages

•10% coefficient tax removed from Improved Fireball and Improved Frostbolt
•New Spell - Ritual of Refreshment: Allows players to pick up food/water
•Evocation now restores 15% of your total mana each 2 seconds
•Arcane Meditation increased to 10/20/30% mana regeneration
•Ice Barrier will receive additional benefit from +Dmg
•Ice Barrier (Rank 5, 6) have had their base absorb lowered

Shamans

•Lightning Overload now has a 4/8/12/16/20% chance to proc
•Lightning Overload damage has been decreased by 50%
•Lightning Overload now causes 0 threat
•Mana Spring Totem now restores mana at a rate of 20 mana every 2 seconds
•Water Shield now costs 0 mana to cast, and the mana per globe has been substantially increased
•Water Shield's duration has been reduced to 1 minute, and grants mana for each globe left upon ending
•Elemental Focus will now reduce the mana cost of your next two damage spells by 40%
•Lightning Bolt casting time reduced to 2.5 seconds, and mana cost decreased
•Chain Lightning casting time reduced to 2 seconds, and mana cost decreased
•Lightning Mastery reduced to .1/.2/.3/.4/.5 seconds
•May equip 2-Handed Axes and 2-Handed Maces without spending talent points
•Frost Shock no longer has Diminishing Returns
•Shamanistic Rage will reduce damage taken by 30% in addition to it's current effects
•Spirit Weapons will reduce melee threat by 30%
•Mental Quickness adds 10/20/30% to +Dmg and +Healing based on your total Attack Power, in addition to it's current effects

Druids

•Tranquility now receives added benefits from +Damage and +Healing
•Cure Poison and Abolish Poison may now be cast in Tree of Life form
•Remove Curse may now be cast in Moonkin form
•Rebirth cooldown reduced to 20 minutes
•Intensity increased to 10/20/30% mana regeneration

Warlocks

•Ritual of Souls has had it's casting time significantly reduced

Warriors

•Weapon Mastery has been changed to reduce the duration of Disarm effects by 25/50% (UPDATED)
•Mace Specialization proc has been reduced
•Mace Specialization Rage increased to 7
•Tactical Mastery now greatly increases threat from Mortal Strike and Bloodthirst while in Defensive Stance
•Devastate now combines the effects of Sunder Armor into it's effect, and is affected by all talents and items that affect Sunder Armor

Priests

•New Dwarf/Draenei ability - Chastise: Causes Holy damage and incapacitates target for 2 seconds (UPDATED)
•Fear Ward will now be available to all Priests at level 20 (UPDATED)
•Fear Ward duration reduced to 3 minutes, and cooldown increased to 3 minutes (UPDATED)
•Power Word: Shield will receive additional benefit from +Dmg and +Healing
•Power Word: Shield (Rank 10, 11, 12) have had their base absorb lowered
•Pain Suppresion may target Friendly targets
•Pain Suppresion reduces Friendly target's threat by 5%
•Pain Suppresion reduces Friendly target's damage taken by 40%
•Pain Suppresion cooldown reduced to 2 minutes
•Meditaion increased to 10/20/30% mana regeneration
•Prayer of Healing gains additional benefit from +Dmg and +Healing
•Circle of Healing gains additional benefit from +Dmg and +Healing
•Circle of Healing's base healing has been reduced
•Holy Nova (Healing only) gains additional benefit from +Dmg and +Healing

Paladins

•Exorcism's mana cost has been lowered
•Holy Wrath's mana cost has been lowered
•Hammer of Wrath's mana cost has been lowered
•Vengeance has been increased to 30 seconds
•Improved Seal of the Crusader effect added to base abilitiy
•Improved Seal of the Crusader now gives the effects of Sanctified Crusader
•New Talent - Sanctified Seals: Increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and melee by 1/2/3%, and reduces the chance your Seals can be dispelled by 33/66/100%
•Crusader Strike cooldown is being reduced to 6 seconds

Rogues

•Fleet Footed increased to 15% speed increase
•Deadly Throw travel speed is being significantly increased
•Deadly Throw snare duration is being slightly increased by 1 second
•Deadly Throw no longer triggers Ruthlessness
•Ruthlessness now only affects melee Finishing Moves
•Blind no longer requires a reagent
•Blind is now a physical attack
•Blind now shares the Diminishing Returns of Cyclone
•Blind is now affected by Diminishing Returns in PvE
•Shadowstep may now be used while not in stealth
•Shadowstep reduces threat caused by your next Ambush, Garrote, or Backstab by 50%
•Shadowstep cooldown increased to 40 seconds
•Dirty Deeds increases damage of special attacks by 10/20% against targets below 35% health

Hunters

•Wyvern Sting is now instant cast
•Arcane Shot (Rank 6+) will now dispel 1 Magic effect in addition to damage
•Serpent Sting, Immolation Trap, and Explosive Trap gain additional damage based on Ranged Attack Power

Engineering

•New Recipe - New Field Repair Bot: Dropped(?) by Gan'arg Analyzers in Blade's Edge Mountains
•New Field Repair Bot is able to buy/sell
•Flying Mount added for Engineers; Regular and Epic version

Fishing

•Fish Tracking may be learned from a journal, fished from crates
•New fish added near Karazhan and Zul'Aman

Cooking

•New Daily Quests
•New recipes added for fish found near Karazhan and Zul'Aman

Season 3 Arena Information
Weapon Rating - 1850
Shoulder Rating - 2000

I like how pretty much everything in Zul"Aman is troll-oriented. I finally won't look retarded in something and there's a new mount. Yeah, I'm excited.

The experience requirements are also being lowered and quests from 30 to 60 are giving more experience. Leveling my alts to 70 will go even faster. 2.3 sounds like it's going to kick serious booty.

i deleted my orc warrior, and my mage isnt even NEAR ready for raiding. Im looking forward to the xp buffs on ALL quests so leveling with me so terribly easy XD

That thing is sick, and considering I'm in SSC/TK and Legacy STILL has only dropped once in guild, it's mine...my precious...

Since I'm such a low level I don't think it will change much for me, I just started playing anyway. I do like how the experience for the Quests is upped now, should make it a bit easier to catch up to the rest of you :>.

You know, you're a very angry person. You should seriously realize a couple things:

Life sucks. Deal with it. If you can't deal with it, just save yourself trouble and go find your mommy, live with her, and realize that you're a weak person.

It's a bloody game. Although some of us spend lots of time on here, most of us realize that it's just that. A game. It's not required. If it ends, so be it. Apparently this game for you means more than lives according to the way you're talking. And if you're being serious, I hope to God you realize that. And honestly, I don't know if you are or not, because you've been a bit unstable on the forums, mate.

Honestly, get your brain in check, shut up, and think about it. You're trying to steal game time for free and you're complaining about internet. If you want a free game, get Guild Wars, get Starcraft, get Warcraft 3. But for the love of Christ, don't try and blame your lack of game time on something else - That's just ridiculous.

Ritual of refreshment is actually really nice, from the perspective of a 70 mage. Two arcane powder is around 16s if you buy at the right places, (and mages always buy at the right places) and that low cost for 50 stacks (or so it appears, I know I took more than 200 from one with just myself clicking) of excellent food/water is both inventory-saving and yummy.

The un-nerf of the coefficients was really a no-brainer; Blizzard's rationale for nerfing them in the first place was proved wrong early on.

Evocation's change was needed considering competitive mages' itemization and the more intuitive nature of mages, but still pissed a bunch off because they'd gotten used to switching out to high-SPI weapons before using it and it's now less effective for them. I think it was a good change.

Ice Barrier's change I support. Increased scalability will always be a good thing, even at the cost of initial power, in the end. (which is why I always wondered about warriors whining at the beginning of BC about tanking - they're the most scalable class in the game)

I'm not so happy about the priest +dmg change, though I understand the rationale (priests can't solo without decent +dmg, and gimping their farming ability just because they want to contribute to raids with healing gear isn't fair) - It just irritates me that shadowpriests are so damned effective. (though at the moment, the aggro bugs keep us on par, a strange thing for a main-healing-class that heals-while-doing-damage to be to a pure damage class, but eh. I'll whine more later.)

I mean, they have been promoted officially to wow's most OP class. Even with 1800 + healing, a shammy can basically never die and then sit there and shock you and lightning bolt you with the same kind of force (sans efficiency/dmg talents, i guess) as an Ele shammy who is in lvl 70 blues.

I'm not sure whether you're kidding or not. Shammies are always just a case of 'interrupt, kill the grounding totem, and sheep'. Especially when they're dumb enough to use FROST SHOCK!!! instead of saving for earthshock when I cast.

Ele shammies are annoying, though. And I find scorch spam works best against them, as if they ground one it doesn't do much and with impact and the more constant hits it throws off many of their heals.

Also lets you be more mobile. The one thing shammies don't have is mana efficiency, and if you can run them out of mana, sheep, then bandage, they're cake.

Silence, I guess, for you? Or scattershot. But yeah, the sudden influx of "we can heal massively and damage massively" classes are kind of annoying to pure DPS classes who can't heal themselves and don't have a lot of defense.

I love shadowpriests who mindflay in shadowform. /lock shadow tree, proceed to beat on for ten seconds.

Is that a joke post? Shaman may be good counters to hunters, but not much else in anything but a duel...Shaman have very lackluster defenses for arena play and are easily focus fired down in the first 20 to 30 seconds of a match.

What else are they supposed to use? =P Mind Blast in mana-inefficient + CD and SWD is self-damage + CD, though with VE up that health lost usually comes back fast enough. Even so, Mind Flay is the bread-and-butter of shadow priest damage, so why do you talk like it's a dumb thing for one to do?

But, uh, if you think being in shadowform is a qualifier for any winning situation when you're facing one, you obviously didn't read the patch notes. Auto shapeshift for the win.
